my daughter will never get old because she will never be born and moreover, i would rather giver her to a dalit from india than to one who is (and always has been) a tool of the devil and sometimes the devil himself (yes, its true. "they" are the devils of this world).

There are many muslims in the world, and i know some. i do not give anything to anyone for free and especially if they have nordic features, forget it.

i am a more probably a "pakistani" pashtun than an afghan one but nonetheless, i am no Pashtun.

Sergei Yurievich Krasnoperov, a former Soviet conscript who fled his base in central Afghanistan, converted to Islam and joined the Mujahideen. More than a quarter of a century later he still lives in Chagcharan, the town where he was based, with a wife and six children. He is known as Noor Mohammad.

what's weird is that Pisho assumes everyone from Afghanistan is Pashtun which sort of exposes her as a Paki

Yeah i know he took a video of his afghan family to show his russi family his new current life in kunduz. The documentary didnt go far enough to show which life he chose, i concluded from the docmntry, and from the mistrust of his fellow soldiers, refusing to greet him, that he was better off amongst afghan in kunduz. I found him to be an afghan muslim. Not just another convert, he has raised children, arranged marraige of his daughter to someone in kabul, so he has passed the test of time.

I met many converts, and they converted to marry someone exotic, no one knows their niya' for the conversion, but everyone can see if the conversion is to marty some one. Of course there is reward for both, the converted and the converter, but in my paradigm niya' is above all for an action to be completely identified as genuine from ا to ى.

I know some afghans who pretend to be christians so they can get charity from the church. There are people everywhere who manipulate the sympathy of others.

but as far as the person in this thread is concerned. He has lived in Afghansitan for 30 years. He has the right to marry and start a family if he wants to and judging from the article and videos of him, he is a far better person than many afghans I know. He works and takes care of his family.

Dear Pisho, I agree with brother Khushal, I mean You know better the Russians than many here, if they wouldn't be honest they would have left on the first possibility I suppose.
Because the Russian way of life is quiet different of the Afghans one.
Generally it depends on the person.
For me for example if there is no good person from my nation to marry my daughter, I prefer for sure a honest person from another nation marries with her.
Quality of a person is very important.
I think marrying foreign people shouldn'T be encouraged, but the importance is for sure on personal qualities.

Perhaps I am stupid - but in the worst case children marrying foreigners will loose their roots, but even in this case I prefer a rightfull enemy will be born than a person without honour calling himself with the same name like my people.

this was extremely touching, I actually welled up with tears watching this; I think documentaries like this serve a crucial role, they help in humanizing botb sides; for Afghans we just think godless Russian hordes, but ignoring the fact that many of these soldiers were conscripts and pushed into a war they had no interest in. Simultaneously those who come and invade see us as Barbarians who beat women and brandish weapons, they forget we have a detailed and intricate life of our own.

I'd rather marry my daughter to men like Gennady who never beat his wife than to someone like Pakistan2010 who thinks it is ok to beat women.
