the same kid who 2 weeks ago said morsi was a US sellout and doesn't even know the ethnic makeup of kabul is trying to talk politics with me?

yes, believe it or not in this world of nations there are degree's of control which are dependent by nation, situation, and history.

here is an example since you deny reality with anything talib related.

late 70s, jamiat i islami became direct assets of pakistan against daoud
during the 80s, they were still paki assets but to a lesser extent
early-mid 90s, they were under paki clout even though pakis supported gulbo
late 90s, jamiat still had contacts with the isi that served as liasons to the talibs
early 00s, the isi once again courted the jamiat
mid-late 00's, jamiat has harsh words for pakistan
2012 - jamiat leaders are eatting food with paki officials at pakistans new kabul embassy.

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

As usual, you are now veering off topic, and not answering my question.

Here is what you say in another thread explaining how you term the Afghan insurgency/rebels as Paki proxies but not the Syrian rebels as Saudi proxies

Conversing the truth, lies and intelligence pertaining to the assessment of the Pashtun population across the Durrand line.

if u are trying to equate this to people saying the taliban are paki backed, thats another argument, but at the same time plain as day.
So the presence of "civil society, an economy, etc, etc" means that if Syrian insurgency gets Saudi backing, is is OK? Where did this standard of credibility come from?

This is your statement of agreement that it is good the Saudis will arm the Syrian insurgency

So Saudi support has no effect on Syrian insurgency street cred? Is the street cred intact?

Here is your statement in regards to the Afghan insurgency.

**We are assuming Pakistan supports the Taliban as you think for the sake of the argument.**

So Pakistan support for the Taliban means that the Taliban have to hide it in order to maintain their "street cred?"

So Syrians can get support from Saudi Arabia, and their street cred is intact? Saudi Arabia, a petrodollar propping nation?

so lynx has demonstrated the capability to search past posts which reaffirm my current posts, but he can't find my posts saying that the taliban take marching orders from pakistan?

lynx has no idea where he is coming from. his entire pashtunforums career is based on denying that pakistan and the taliban have any links, also proving himself wrong several times(iran doesn't support the taliban/morsi is a US puppet/taliban will never negotiate). now he is speaking from the position of the taliban and pakistan being close then is trying to under mind my opinion that the syrian resistance is legitimate because it is supported by saudi arabia? he does this all while not understanding every country is different in situation.

          amazing LOL

lynx, before you jump to another debate that you will lose, go find my posts which say the taliban take its marching orders from pakistan. of course it is worthless in this thread but you brought it up several times and have obviously demonstrated the capability of searching past threads, as well as having the time to make a dozen pf's sn's, you should be able to find it. good boy go get it, fetch.

In other words, you cant explain why you have contradicting views on the Afghan insurgency and the Syrian insurgency.

Why the Syrian street cred is intact with Saudi support (you even cheer on Saudi support), but the Afghan insurgency according to you has to hide the Pakistan backing (assumed) in order to maintain their street cred. Dont want to explain? Fine.

            This is called intellectual dishonesty

and BTW, I just showed that you apply two completely different standards to Syria and Afghanistan. Contradictions all around buddy

Nevermind that we assumed Pakistan supports the Taliban for the sake of this questioning.

lastly, since you brought it up, you have spent your entire Pashtunforums career stating that Pakistan backs the Taliban..well then go ahead an prove it, but you fail to do so. Pakistan makes the NATO war possible

Oh, that Iran-Taliban article. Were you talking about this? http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...242267700.html "Tehran Builds on Outreach to Taliban"

That was reported by Western and Karzai regime officials. If you have a problem with their reports (which you usually dont when it comes to their statements saying Pakistan backs the Taliban) then you should take the issue up with them, and tell them why they published this. Iran will off course deny this. Thats not unexpected, and if you think the US cooked this story up from nowhere, then you are being dishonest to yourself for whatever bubble fantasy land reason. Your right Randolph, US will stay in Afghanistan forever like those before them. French withdrawal, no big deal you say. You see where your train of thought is going? Notice a pattern with yourself LOL

              Anyways

LOL at your stupidity. Im embarrassed for you my friend. It is you who has been proven wrong on everything because you just simply most of the time dont know what you are talking about. You kind of like the karzai regime hell bent on living in a bubble, oblivious to the facts around. French withdrawing (no big deal you say). US will stay after withdrawal you say and build up the Afghan Army you say. Plans are one thing my friend, reality something else entirely, but you will have none of that.

now he is speaking from the position of the taliban and pakistan being close then is trying to under mind my opinion that the syrian resistance is legitimate because it is supported by saudi arabia? he does this all while not understanding every country is different in situation.
See ^^ you are guilty of intellectual dishonesty. The situation between Syria and Afghanistan is different, and the differences shred your stance that the Syrian insurgency is credible according to the logic you apply to the Afghan insurgency. In fact, your stance is so weak, its ridiculous you brought it up. You see Afghanistan is occupied by a foreign military alliance- NATO, and has an illegally imposed Karzai regime propped up by the occupation.

Syria on the other hand is simply ruled by a dictator- tyrant or no tyrant. There is no foreign occupation of Syria *Russian tartus base is on a port and is insignificant.

So on one hand you are stating that the Syrian insurgency which is backed by the Turks, Saudis, Qataris, US as legitimate, but on the other hand you are stating that the Afghan insurgency which you presume to be backed by Pakistan is not ??? You are unable to address this for some odd reason.

Off course I will call into question the intellectual dishonesty evident here on multiple levels.

back to your question, NO the free army does not take marching orders from foreigners. are they helped by them? no doubt. saudis support them because they hate assad more than they hate the brotherhood and americans support them to weaken iran. the afghan mujahadin were also supported by these same nations in the 80s.
Wrong, you can't declare the whole Syrian insurgency as pure Syrian, among them are many thieves and foreign rats.

A part from the Hurrr ( Jaish Al-Hurr Syria) are trained and lead by CIA and other agencies.

But indeed a part from the Hurr ( Jaish Al-Hurr Syria,Free Syrian army) are pure resistance fighting for the liberation of their country and for freedom.

Now these two are intermixed, what the result will be,we will see after the fall of Assad and its criminal government.

We pray to Allah that Assad and his government and army falls as soon as possible so that the displaced people and threathend people can return to a normal life.

are you BLIND?!?!?!?!?! I just posted up a video which corroborates it. And in None of those statements did Randolph say he believes such; but that Taliban SAY IT themselves, quite a big difference.

Go to 5:50 as I stated ...the captive is saying his captors (Taliban) told him these things

And this captive cannot be said to be biased because most of the time he was praising the Taliban.
