The Problems of minorities in Pakistan

500 muslims is not some small minority, the Hindus wouldn't do anything becuase they are not stupid, and you can't say that 500 milion muslims would be left out of the goverment or any other political power. I don't know why Pakis have this paranoia whith hindus, if the Hindus were like some nazi germans who had made concentration camps to kill every mulsim I would understand why muslims would be scared to live whith them in one country, but such things have never happend in India, there were some clashes but it was never like the Hindu dominated goverment was behind it.Originally posted by Karachi View Post^ indian muslims even today are not secularized, only some city ones are. There is still a lot of division between muslims and hindus in India, this is a fact. also imagine 500 million muslims and 800 millions hindus living together, it almost seems like an impossible sort of scenario considering the violent history between the two faiths
yes afghanistan would have been of course better if the creation pakistan didn't take over previous afghans lands, like I said i dont know why it happend
Geez please just get over yourselfs. You Pakis sound like some littel girl that always scream that there is monster under there bed, but in reality there is nothing.

A comment on this clip.
"amazing predictions by amir khan's grandfather .........
he was the great leader of India..bcz the leader takes the step by analyzing the future..
this is where Md ali Jinnah did great mistake....he never thought about the partition practically.....he just wanted to be the a great leader of the history books...he would not be such a famous personal;ity..if partition never happened.......
he never thought about muslims.....he just thought about himself...
i may be wrong but this is what i think."
And I agree with the above comment. For from being a statesman or a visionary and popular leader, Jannah was a rigid, egoistic drawing room leader that wanted a name for himself and played into the hands of the British. His arrogance can be gauged from the fact that at one point he claimed "I made Pakistan with the help of my stenographer" as if the masses were nothing. No real/genuine political leader can say such thing. As if this was not enough, Jannah true to his dictatorial and arrogant nature at one time held five different offices and removed the democratically elected majority (2/3 majority) govt of Dr Khan and installed the minority-party (1/3) govt of Abdul Qayum Khan. But this was not the only thing he did. He demanded of Bacha Khan that he should abolish Khudai Khidmatgar and merge it with Muslim league. The same demand he made from Shiekh Abduallah of the the Muslim Conference of Jammu and Kashmir who had a long history of leading struggle of Kashmiris against the Maharaja of Kashmir although Muslim League had no role whatsoever in that struggle. How can popular leaders like Bacha Khan and Shiekh Abdullah accept such non-genuine demands?Last edited by Toramana; 08-14-2012, 11:54 PM.

No doubt, there is utmost urgency for a Pashtun secessionist movement from Pakistan for various reasons, but specifically for the reason of safeguarding and protecting the life of Pashtuns.
It is a fact that Pakistan has lived off a war focused on Pashtuns by supporting the NATO war with supply routes (with which they have been paid billions of dollars for).
It is also a fact that within Pakistan, there is no Pashtun nationalist platform in the truest sense. How can "Pashtun nationalists" support the NATO war, and Pakistan support for the NATO war?
So a couple issues need to be looked at.
First and foremost, the pro-Pakistan attitude of some Pashtuns is irrelevant in the larger schemes. Their voice is insignificant. FATA, KP, and Balochistan are occupied territories.
No distinction should ever be made between Pakistan and India. They are a part of the same coin. Their forefathers served the British Raj, and as you can see today, continue to do so, except now they serve NATO.
Pashtuns and Balochis need to develop an understanding with each other because right now the Pakistani state is trying to divide them
To recognize the state of Pakistan is to recognize a creation of the British, and is equivalent to recognizing the Zionist state of Israel which is another creation of the British. The British did this in order to interfere in the region at a later date. Afghanistan, on the other hand won its independence through resistance in 1919.
The existence of Pakistan is a direct existential threat to the future of Pashtuns. This NATO war which Pakistan has made possible may end, but Pakistan is very capable of supporting another foreign war again.
As long as FATA, KP, and Balochistan are a part of Pakistan, Afghanistan will always be vulnerable to foreign wars which Pakistan will always support. Pakistan is not only a threat to Pashtuns specifically, and Afghanistan in general, but a threat to regional nations independence and peace.
In order for Afghanistan to be completely protected, FATA, KP, and Balochistan must secede.Last edited by Shah-i-Kot; 08-15-2012, 05:27 PM.

I have emphasized this part from above.
"As long as FATA, KP, and Balochistan are a part of Pakistan, Afghanistan will always be vulnerable to foreign wars which Pakistan will always support. Pakistan is not only a threat to Pashtuns/Balochis specifically, and Afghanistan in general, but a threat to regional nations independence and peace. "
A poltical/independence movement would make use of regional anxiety to foreign/Western interference which Pakistan represents.
As long as Pakistan exists, the independence of regional countries is at risk of foreign wars and resource theft.
Pakistan represent Western interference.

If You look on most of of states in South and Central Asia - their borders do not correspond to the borders of the nations living there, I think Pakistan is not an exception in this case.Ա՜խ, ընկել եմ քար ու քարափ,
