Gulo post up the proper link on the army. It is actually true...there are cases of Zarina Marri where the army has raped women. Lets not forget Bangladesh. So people this does happen. Jodigul I am studying here...and btw I am not the only one. There are many people who are there that say this. If I am not the representative (I never said I was), the same is with you. We all put forward our views. The fact is that, we have backed everything up, and I am from the areas which were hit (granted not as bad as swat or waziristan), so we have families there, we have studied there...it is not a one sided thing.

Bls i know a common pashtun better than you. Their life, struggle and priorities are for "rooti kaprra aur makaan" and preparation for jannat. People with your mindset will get disappointed frm them.
My reasons and logics for attachment to pakistan are simple. As there is no movement against pakistan by pashtuns so i hav never felt to think like

I am studying outside of Pashtunkhwa, but I have studied in peshawar. I am aware of the basic necessities...but that does not negate the other issues. The basic necesssities are important but that does not mean we leave other issues...they all go hand in hand. You want peace, and basic goods, get yourself out of other's slavery. You want to live like a human, stop supporting GHQ's policies. Otherwise it will only go worse. Common pashtuns said it then as well, but before they were sleeping while they were being used and today they are enjoying f-16 bombing, drones, and refugee camps. Disappointed Lolzz? Listen Jodigul, I was against the strategic depth nonsense way before, and I remember then the pashtuns who pretended pashto the most were the ones who would disagree with us. Now those same Pashtuns are cursing Pakistan. Not me, but them.

I am not a supporter of GHQ and i usually argue with my pashtun friends in army about their operation in pashtun areas.
I am also aware of the some rights of pashtuns of which they are deprived of in pakistan.
I am also aware of the punjabis and mohajirs pulling down legs of pashtuns in every field.
I am also aware of various stereotypes and pathan jokes , with which we are targeted.
But do you know why i am not against pakistan?
