Afghanistan, what has been the taleban's biggest achievement? Do you just side with them because of similar views or ideology? Even after the fact, that they were allies with America before the invasion...

That woman in the burqa in revolutions video could have been your own mother or sister... would you have still accepted them getting beaten up like that...

where was the judge..and the court in that video? where was the investigator? what was her crime and who gave that bearded man to beat her up like that.. and if you are saying.. that it wasn't a taleb.. then why wasn't this man punished by this organised force named "taleban"?

It has nothing to do with one person destroying another. Most of these things are common sense...and requires very little reasoning..skills to realise..the fraud that the taleban, all the other warlords .the current governement and the communist government were...

Why its always women that are killed for adultery, I still haven't seen any men, or only women are geting attention on this from the media.
And by the way, why taliban don't kille bacha baz men? They are easilly found everywhere. They do place a bomb in Qargha, becuase there were so called prostitues and alchohol,( again women were involved, suprisingly). But never in some disgusting bacha bazi event.
            -_-

The powerful men he refers to are often former warlords who helped drive the Taliban out of the north. Others are wealthy businessmen. Under the Taliban, bacha bazi was outlawed. Today it is still a crime, but clearly there is no concerted effort being made to stop the practice and the criminal activity that surrounds it.

“Like it or not, there was better rule of law under the Taliban", said one child protection expert serving in Afghanistan with the UN mission.

It was a startling statement when you think about it?

A child welfare advocate saying "Life was better for (Bacha bazi) under the Taliban. This when it come to protecting young boys in Afghanistan from sexual abuse at the hands of older men?

But it seems that the Taliban did a better job than the UN and United States military mission at protecting these children from sexual abuse?

Wurth was quoted in a recent Washington Post bomb shell article called: “Afghanistan sees rise in ‘dancing boys’ exploitation”

DANCING BOYS DRESSED AS GIRLS IN MAKEUP AND DRESSES

Dancing boys are “Bacha bazi” (literally "playing with children" in Iranian dialect and "playing with boys" in Afghani dialect), also known as bacchá (from the Persian bacheh "child, young man, calf") or bacha bereesh (beardless boy) is sexual slavery and child prostitution in which prepubescent and adolescent boys are sold to wealthy or powerful men for entertainment and “sexual activities”. The practice of bacha bazi is one form of pederasty. The practice has been prevalent in Central-East Asia since ancient times, when it was observed by the ancient Greeks.

BEARDLESS YOUTH - A TEMPATION TO ADULT MEN?

In pre-modern times there was a "widespread conviction that beardless youths possessed a temptation to adult men as a whole, and not merely to a small minority of deviants."

SOLD INTO SEX BY WARLORDS AND MUJAHIDEEN

The bacha bereesh, between the ages of 6 to 18 are dressed in special women’s clothing, with bells tied to their feet, and paraded out to dance at parties and weddings. In general, the practice of men dancing at parties is relatively common in Afghanistan, where the sexes are strictly segregated and women unallowed to partake in such activity. However, in Baghlan, the former warlords and mujahideen commanders are resurrecting bacha bazi, and holding dance competitions between the boys. WE KNOW IT IS IMMORAL AND UNISLAMIC

“First we select boys in the village and later on we try to trick them into coming with us,” he said. “Some of them stay with us for money; they get a monthly allowance, and in return we can have them any time we want. They don’t stay with us all the time - they can do their own jobs and then just come to parties with us”, said Allah Daad, a former Afghan warlord“We know it is immoral and unIslamic, but how can we quit?” asks 35 year-old Chaman Gul. “We do not like women, we just want boys.” See article: “Afghan boy dancers sexually abused by former warlords” http://www.reuters.com/article/2007/...nnel=0&sp=true

“Its abominable that things like this still go on, but in Afghanistan the US doesn’t demand it be outlawed. It says it is a cultural problem best handled by the government which is corrupt”, says former US Army specialist Ken Valdez of Charlotte, N.C., who served two tours in Afghanistan and said "it was not uncommon to see men holding the hands of young boys and kissing them publically. They treated them like girlfriends. At night they made them dance, wear makeup in some cases and dress and act like girls”, he said.

Then they have the audacity to point their fingers at the west and accuse them of having no respect for their women. They might as well legalize prostitution. At least then people won't be worried about their children around anyone and everyone. Imagine what these children will grow up to be like.
By the way, where was the government while all this was happening??

I'm not saying every Taliban did this or that every Taliban knew about it; but lot of this stuff was for show. It did exist amongst the Taliban though at least in some portion.

You are a non-Muslim non-Pashtun relying on non-Muslim non-Pashtun sources to accuse Pashtun Muslims. Thats what I expected and you didn't disapoint me.
