  • CNN Report : Syria has become Iraqi-style Insurgency

Syria rebels are turning to IEDs, mirroring the insurgency in Iraq. There is an increase in the numbers of suicide bombing attacks on government and security forces, and now an element separate from the Free Syrian Army, the Daoud brigade, are making their own bombs. The brigade posted videos of their attacks on YouTube. CNN's Arwa Damon reports

now you want the west to intervene. precisely what i was saying the other night. if they don't intervene when people refuse to get their own sh*t together, people like you start crying and accusing the west of heartlessness, if they do intervene and some civilians get killed you'd be freaking out about that as well.
some people on pf say it is best if citizens are allowed to sort their own countries out.

The west wants not to take part, they want bloodshed it is something that they desire,in libya their oil was under threat but about syria forget about them.

I can imagine the Free Syrian Army and other insurgents factions fighting western forces in Syria.

A reaction meaning condemning the Al-Asad regime more fiercely and not just cheap talk.

It's hypocrisy and we all know it.
and i never said that you said they 'should invade', so that is a lie.

by the way, iraq is only 'one' of the cradles of civilisation. read more about history outside of your own area.

well why aren't these countries able to change governments without creating bloodbaths?
talibs like you are unable to take responsibility for your own incapacity to run a country without the masses needing to be controlled by violent abusers.
why should the west have to keep saving muslims from themselves?

I say,i agree with the Insurgency,

May they slaughter off any soldiers or person who stands with Assad and its government.

They shall proclaim peace then the insurgency will come to an end, aslong as Assad does not give up,fighting will go on.

We don't need the apostacy and hypocrisy of the west, which does only things for its desire, rather than helping anyone.

We people can handle our situation in Iraq,Yemen,Syria,Somalia,Libya,Egypt,Tunesia.

Why these ruthless *******s want to enforce yes to force people into democracy, let the people decide what is good for them.

lol, so far, it may be considered the oldest but you have told us that it is 'the cradle of civilisation' over and over. thought i would just point out how you are a braggart.
don't you live and study in the west?

if you don't need the west, then why is nearly everyone on this forum and many millions more muslims, living in the west?

islam is supposedly not compatible with secularism and you and yours, are constantly critical of your own countries, where you have the freedom to be muslims.

looking at the hypocrites like you, is unbelievable amusing. you have absolutely no insight to yourself and your ideals.
you appear to fantasize yourself as a spokesman on behalf of the taliban, allah, and wish for oppression of others, whilst you sit in paris on the net.
it is piteous and a good laugh. thanks

Why are you discussing Iraq in this thread? Yes, Iraq is known as the cradle of the civilization for a reason. Ancient Iraq had slightly different borders but the main centers of culture were in current day Iraq that's why it's referred to as Mesopotamia also. It must really hurt you that it's not in England, your ancestors uselss island where culture first reappearead 9000 years after that in Iraq and the Middle East LOL.

No, I don't live in the West or study in the West but I am currently in the West and have been for a few weeks. What has this to do with the discussion.

ANyway if you don't are able to answer my posts don't start the discussion or other pointless discussions. Nobody care or is interested. This is serious stuff and a serious discussion that actually is close to my heart as an Arab. I have been told and seen with my own eyes what has happened in the Arab world/Middle East due to Western interference.
who gives a damn about iraq being the supposed "cradle of civilisation" when they are murdering each other now? what difference does the long distant past make, to the failure now, for muslims to make peace with each other.

no point running at the mouth and evading issues that i point out. you guys need to get over the past and create a new future. shia and sunni at war with each other makes islam look like a joke. you are all demeaning your own religion, the qu'ran and your prophet mohammad.
