If it was "beghairata" it would be beghairata to give "nanawatai" to criminals then. Because that in turn would be supporting "Beghairata" so this means it's not Beghairata for a mn to steal a girl; it's Beghairata for a tribe to be unable to protect the girl from kidnapping That is where the grievance comes from. iN tribal culture who is considered rogue and who isn't depends on who's powerful and who isn't. The rule of Law in a Civil System of Law is not the same.

You've done so much to make Pashtuns and Pashtunwali seem like it is not some nationalized system of law, now you're trying to equate it as a legal standard , when there is no organized system of criminal indictment. This is the essence of intellectual dishonesty.
olberman is criticizing the baighyratee of Bush. I wanted to make a point of what happens what a strong party in pashtunwali faces when they also dont strive for justice. People will criticize them and it will have long term reprecussions.

So why do criminals get due process in the US then? What do you propose? lynching people.

No he's not, the issue of "Ghairat" doesn't even play into the concept here, he's saying Bush's actions contradict the democratic principles. There are no "democratic" principles when it comes to kidnapping a bride and nanawatai for kidnapper.

        your analogies are awful.

          your a complete idiot.
a person that betrays the principles which he is supposed to stand for is a baighyrata. so the analogy is correct.

Pashtunwali has many democratic principles. A kidnapper in the US still will receive due process and the State(the people) will protect him/her from being lyched until a fair trial to the kidnapper can be given to him/her.

You just refuse to see it.
