Rule by might is the law of jungle. It happens in lawless societies. Pashtunwali is counter to that. It attempts to bring some sort of civility.
You have no idea of what your talking about. You have never lived amonst pashtuns in the mountains, therefore what I am saying is foreign to you. All you have done is read it in fiction books.
The US invaded Iraq because they rule by might. did pashtunwali encourage Bush to go and invade Iraq when the whole world was telling him it was the wrong thing to do.

what your saying is foreign to Pashtuns; numerous people have shunned your narrative here. and this situation reinforces this

what does Bush's decision have to do with how Pashtuns rule themselves when brides are kidnapped? You're a joke kiddo.

your the joke. your saying that pashtunwali encourages kidnapping and it encourages rule by might. Bush over ruled international law and invaded iraq because he ruled by might. You blaming pashtunwali for rule by might is like blaming international law for the invasion of iraq.

Its you that is being shunned. no one is speaking against me, its just you.

I'm not saying pashtunwali encourages kidnapping doofus; -2 for strawman argument.

I'm saying that things like kidnapping are not shunned by Pashtuns, they do exist as a custom, or at least they did in the past, and that Pashtunwalis system acts a protection/has acted as a protection for such behaviors and other injustices like power mongering tribes doing such things against weaker tribes.

at least when you counter ; counter the right argument.

You don't seem to understand; , they're saying the OPPOSITE of what you claimed; That's SHUNNING your NARRATIVE you confused low IQ , poor reading comprehension afflicted dork. lol

In fact when you examine the whole landscape of Pashtunwali, badal, nanawatai; all of it indicates that the practice of such things is not only sanctioned but encouraged, for a kidnapper can have nanawatai and the offended tribe cannot have any recourse.
so whats up? backtracking which means you have lost the argument and you have conceded

I didnt say pashtunwali encourages it ......II said when you examine the l landscape of Pashtunwali from nanawatai , badal, it is not only sanctioned but encouraged .......where in did I say "Pashtunwali encourages it", those are two sharply different things

you really have horrible reading skills and poor comprehension, I am almost tempted to ask you how well you do on standardized tests, but I think you've been humiliated enough

pathetically grasping for straws in hopes of some pathetic redemption of your failed morality?

' rule by might' is only one aspect of natural laws in the jungle. working together and symbiosis, are also aspects.
but yes, bush invaded because he could and i believe for economic pillage by the neocons buddies.

I've been calling you names long before the last post, and now that I highlight your poor straw man argument you claim I'm calling you names......it's not my fault you can't comprehend what you read

Seriously you're like the nerd in Kung Pao Enter the Fist who thinks losing in winning; LOL .if you think you won the debate, because I've more than amply shown that more than one Pashtun has confirmed your claiims as false.

Exactly, Revolution thinks that pashtunwali encourages rule by might which it does not. Just like Bush broke international law and invaded Iraq because he had the military might to do it so he did it. For the record PAsthunwali discourages rule by might but that does not mean tribes wont rule by might if they have the chance just like Bush, no one could stop him.

Just like Obama can turn afghanistan into glass within a day if he unleashes the military might of the US. International law would discourage him but at the end of the day, it is his and his administrations decision but like the tribes, they(obama administration) do think of the consequences of it.

you have bad reading comprehension; that's not what Faye is saying, so "saying exactly" is not evidence that Pashtunwali is absent of being a might is right system of ethics.
