  • Al-Qaeda in South Yemen

Short documentary made by Iraqi journalist Ghaith Abdul-Ahad about Al-Qaeda in South Yemen.

    ‫القاعدة في اليمن - ترجمة مهدي الØ*سني‬‎ - YouTube

In the video it is confirmed that there are Iraqi, Afghan, Saudi and Somali members - something a member here always denied because he claimed everyone is Saudi and leadership only Saudi and other nonsense.

And Ghaith Abdul-Ahad has made documentaries about Al-Qaeda in Iraq (which is the most secret organization, biggest and dangerous - he never entered the top), Taliban (where he was hostage for 5 days) and Somalia.

    So he has no agenda.

He is bulllshiitter because he is AFRAID of past comments all over Internet like diarrhea once supporting Taliban azzam and extremists doing stoning. Just read one year back and see how he defends stoning. Now lol like coward he say jail instead because he knows his butt is in hot water!

The same is case in Iraq, Afghanistan (among Taliban and AQ there), Somalia, Nigeria etc.

Now he will probably say that Ghaith Abdul-Ahad is a Sunni and therefore biased....

But I know why he is defensive, I mean South Yemenis hate Northern Yemenis and don't want to be part of Northern Yemen which has a different culture. AQ and their organization are rulling larts parts of Southern Yemen.

Never heard about something similar in Saudi Arabia. The Wahhabi's in Saudi Arabia are concentrated in BURAIDAH, Riyadh, Qassim and Najd. In Hejaz it is non-existent apart from the official's.

Al-Arab your documentary is good but your commengtary and explanation of the documentary is idiotic and hows what an i secure Saudi you are

Ansar Al-Shari'ah is from North Yemen and they went and invaded Ja3ar and imposed their laws on them

and guess what? Answar A Shari'ah are an affiliate of Al-Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula

Jaar (Arabic: جعار Jaʿār) is a small town and capital of Khanfar District in south-western Yemen. One of the largest settlements in the Abyan Governorate, it is located in the south of the Abyan Governorate to the north of Al Kawd and the regional capital of Zinjibar.[1][2] The town is located about 2 kilometres east of the right bank of the Wadi Bana.

Khanfar is a southern suburb of the town, noted for its ceramics and munitions production, and on March 28, 2011, an explosion occurred.

The town was controlled by Ansar al-Sharia, a group affiliated with al-Qaeda, from March 2011 to June 2012.[3][4]. However, on 12 June 2012, the Yemeni Army retook control of Ja'ar along with Zinjibar [5]

Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (Arabic: القاعدة في جزيرة العرب‎, Al-Qaida fi Jazirat al-'Arab) (AQAP) is a militant Islamist organization, primarily active in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. It was named for al-Qaeda, and says it is subordinate to that group and its now-deceased leader Osama bin Laden, a Saudi citizen
The leadership is Saudi.....and the ideology is Saudi

just like in Afghanistan, Saudis go to Yemen or poorer countries and brainwash children with misguided ideas to influence them to join. This is what happens with Pashtun boys and the Taliban, who train them to become suicide bombers. the Saudi Al-Qaeda do the same and use and manipulate poor Yemeni boys. Like cowards, as typical Saudis are.

However even Ja'ar isn't the part of Yemen my mom comes from .....I told yoi before they're from HADRAMOUT, and they'd never let Saudis even step in Hadramout, Hadramiyeen would spit on Saudis.

It was shortly mentioned that Ghaith BELIEVED that there was Iraqi, Saudi, Somali and Afghan volunteers but he was not allowed to talk with them. So basically they must be present otherwise they would not say so.

Anyway my point is that Saudi Arabia are not behind every single problem in Iraq or Yemen as you have claimed.

Eh, but Saudi Arabian Al-Qaeda and Yemeni AL-Qaeda were two DIFFERENT cells UNTIL they merged as said in the documetary also. So Yemen had their own cell. I don't know why you are saying otherwise.

It does not suit you calling me a Saudi Wahhabi and other nonsense since you know my views very well. Apart from that I am only half Saudi (Hejazi) and it's truth that the Al-Shammari tribe is a Iraqi and Najdi tribe but they WERE RIVALS TO AL-SAUD. Ever heard about the Emirate of Jabal Shammar? They ruled all of Najd and half of Iraq for 200 years and Eastern Saudi Arabia.

Also the Shammari tibe has 6 million members, 3 in Iraq and 2,5 in Saudi Arabia and rest in Kuwait and the Syrian Desert. It's a very peaceful tribe that is not WAHHABIYYA!

I would appreciate it if you read something about which tribes are mostly wahhabiyya in Saudi ARabia. It's mostly Banu Tamim.

There are many Banu Tamim in Iraq as well, one of my good friends is Banu Tamim, but they are regular Sunni Hanafi's or Shafi'is. You can't label WHOLE tribes as wahhabiyya especially not when the REAL Arab tribes live in Iraq, Jordan, KSA, Oman, Yemen, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain etc. There are big distances.

I think 20 percent of Basra's population are from Banu Tamim (Known as Al-Tamimi)

You might now this Iraqi-AMERICAN. He is from Banu Tamim.

                    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_al-Tamimi

Al-Arab we have eyes and ears, we don't need some low life disease infested Saudi to tell us how to interpret and read things

It is will known that Ansar Al-Shar'iah are Saudi funded and Saudi led. Ghaith doesn't have to show it, we've known this for a long time since Ansar are just a BRANCH of Al-Qaeda ...which was started in Saudia.

All your other explanations are almost like somebody writing his Own Fiction or Fantasy story.

Even the worst Yemeni is better than your average saudi.

No Al-Qaeda's founder is Saudi, he' has Saudi Nationality.

if you want to get technical then ALL Saudis are yemenis since Yemen is where Arab tribes originated from. But that doesn't change that he is Saudi.

The documentary only proves that these are Yemenis trained by Saudis.
