To the western afghan like yourself, you are right. but to the afghans on the ground in afghanistan, it is not. I remind you of the amanallah incident.

A bad thing at a good cause event. People need to carry a cultural sensitivity pamphlet or anything to that respect before participating in such public talks. The guy thought this was showing affection/compassion towards a people he was sent to kill but for those people back home this means yet another injury.

this pashtun? woman, is the only one to stand up to the criminals in the afghan government. she was threatened with rape and death. she had been a refugee and she taught other women. she has written a book about her life, which wasn't a comfortable, hanging out online type of life, and travelled the world in support of afghanistan.
where were all the brave men supporting and protecting her so that she was able to stay in government?
she is more of a warrior than any of the people here who make these judgements on her and if afghans are ungrateful and have a problem with her, she should come and live in australia. we like strong women.

what a waste such judgemental people are, with such superficial values.

any reason you lot can find to put shi* on women attracts the men on here, like a pack of vultures, especially the ****bag who put this thread up.

Agreed!!!! I hate when men come to blame a woman or put bad names on woman when something bad happens!!! Where are there during the victory of a woman or when they do something good.... i don't see them then!!!
