  • Child rapists in my country !

Women hold posters as they protest in support of Amina Filali who committed suicide last week in front the Moroccan parliament in Rabat, Morocco, Saturday, March 17, 2012. Amina Filali took her own life by taking rat poison after being forced to marry the man who allegedly raped her at age 15, and then abused her in marriage. In Morocco, as in many Middle East societies, a rapist can escape prosecution if he marries his victim, thereby restoring the honor of his victim and her family, but in the case of Amina Filali, it seems she could not live with her restored honor. The legal system in Morocco supports this honor tradition but activists are pressing for change. At left placard reads "Make stopping sexual abuse to preserve the dignity of women".

I would have asked DZJ to sign Amina Filali's petition but I don't believe in petitions.

So DZJ, if you have the time one day (because I know you're busy supporting the Afghan mujahideens resisting against the war and occupation of Afghanistan) would you please go to a Moroccan forum and help me by calling to overthrow the current apostate Monarchy and install a nice Islamic Emirate to implement Sharia and replace these man-made laws so that women will feel safe and rapists will be killed ?

Actually if you read the commentary, he made remarks which insinuating his implicit encouragement of the Taliban in Afghanistan, It was he who swayed from the story not anyone else.

no the poster is actually the most responsible for maintaining the topic. Once he strays, then he nor anyone else can complain. He brought this on himself

The problem with some of the pf members is that they put blame on Muslims and Islam for such crimes happen in our countries. They fail to know that Islam opposes such things and tell us to handle such criminals with iron hands.
The reasons why these things are happening and no one is there to prevent them because the ruling class is not implementing the islamic laws. The day they started implementing the islamic laws, the ratio of such crimes in the country would be minimum. But they don't do it because their own hands are red.

I am Muslim, so I don't see why I'd put the blame on Islam. What people are remarking upon is people who espouse views that are often irrational and gross misrepresentations of Islamic Principles who are so vociferous, they both comment on Afghanistan's internal turmoil longing to impose their perceptions on Afghanistan under a false guise of religious piety and yet will not practice what they preach in their own countries. I am not necessarily saying this refutes the Truth value of their claims; logical criticism and analysis more than adequately does that. I am however saying it shows how insincere they are in their agenda.

Most of the Muslims who oppose the Taliban and their way of struggle fail to present their own way to solution of the problem, means they just love to blame and oppose their opponents. Do you have some better solution my friend and how many of your followers are following that way in Afghanistan ?

Let's say I agree with you about Muslims who criticize the Taliban, lacking a solution; how is the Taliban behaving brutally, implementing laws without the proper caveats enshrined with the practices and practicing strategies to fight an occupying army which in fact kill more Muslims than invaders and their cohorts a solution? Everything here reeks of counter productive aims.

Just because I don't "have a solution" (although I do, I am just arguing based on your assumed premise) doesn't mean the Taliban are valid and the truth value of their position is established. Because except for some Salafiyeen/ Wahhabists who are churned out by Saudi indoctrination and Deobandis, no serious Muslim 'Alim gives them much credibility. The only thing that can be agreed on is that Imperialism should be opposed on all fronts Asides from that the Taliban behave more or less like an imperialist stooge force itself. Asides from outward Islamic appearance, morally speaking, what difference is it of the Taliban intimidating and murdering people and the U.S. soldiers who did the same in Qandahar, asides the fact the Taliban are internal criminals and U.S. are external invaders.

If that is your response, then you demonstrate how flawed the Taliban narrative and the cognizance of their supporters really is. I understand the appeal of the Taliban, outwardly they represent this romantic rugged image of Pashtuns and perhaps that is done deliberately to earn sway, people are always more pulled b sentimental attachments than reasonable ones. However, it says nothing about the truth value of their claims or agenda, the legitimacy of their approach or understanding.

You don't need to have a solution to see what's clearly wrong, do you need to know how to stop men raping women to know men raping women is wrong and should be criticized? Same with the Taliban, I don't need to have a solution to identify what they're clearly doing wrong. This doesn't mean I don't have solutions; it simply means, you're diverting from the main focus, the flaw of the Perverse Agenda of these so called "Mujahideen".
