Documentaries about Islamic countries/history

[al-arab]

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

I thought about making a thread that deals with documentaries/reports about Islamic countries/history/their current situation etc. For example documentaries from Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia etc.

Yes I know there is a thread about documentaries on the forum but these are all kind of documentaries. I think a seperate thread that deals with documentaries from the Islamic world would be interesting.

I will personally start with posting a very interesting documentary about the Iraq War filmed in 2006 and told by Iraqi's themselves. A very sad documentary (personally from my point of view) but also a documentary that gives hope. It is seen from a Sunni Arab, Shia Arab and Kurdish point of view and the photography is very beautiful.

I recommend to watch it.

Please share similar documentaries about other Islamic countries, especially Afghanistan.

This fixation you have with constantly stating your nationality and ethnicity sounds a bit obnoxious and almost as if you're insecure; Just saying.
