Pictures of human are not considered as haram in islam, they do not resemble new creation but the creation of Allah, therefore the scholars are agreed that pictures of human are not haram.Originally posted by Jamaludeen View Postpictures are prohibited.
But making idols and painting with hand new creations are not allowed, but with computers there is too not wrong i have heared someone who is in contact with a known sheikh in europe ,his name is sheikh khalid,i have heared few such beautiful voices like that of the recitation of this sheikh.
Further,i want to stress on this issue about the work and payment and liberation of women,
If we speak about equallity we must let in Tour de France women vs men,who will win ? men.
We must let women in boxing fighting against men ? who will win ? men.
This is equallity ? isn't it.
No this is wrong, this is the thinking of ignorants and people who have no knowledge of the biology of women.
We can never compare men with women, rather we should look at a very specific way on women and men.
Women have their advantages and disadvantages, they can not handle works where power is needed, but they can handle works where men will go crazy.
And Allah says :
32. O wives of the Prophet! You are not like any other women. If you keep your duty (to Allah), then be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease (of hypocrisy, or evil desire for adultery, etc.) should be moved with desire, but speak in an honourable manner.
33. And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance, and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah wishes only to remove Ar-Rijs (evil deeds and sins, etc.) from you, O members of the family (of the Prophet
), and to purify you with a thorough purification.
Enjoining certain Manners so that the Mothers of the Believers may be an Example
These are the good manners which Allah enjoined upon the wives of the Prophet so that they would be an example for the women of the Ummah to follow. Allah said, addressing the wives of the Prophet that they should fear Allah as He commanded them, and that no other woman is like them or can be their equal in virtue and status. Then Allah says:
(then be not soft in speech,) As-Suddi and others said, this means, do not be gentle in speech when addressing men. Allah says:
(lest he in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire,) means, something unclean.
(but speak in an honorable manner.) Ibn Zayd said: "Decent and honorable talk that is known to be good.'' This means that she should address non-Mahram men in a manner in which there is no softness, i.e., a woman should not address a non-Mahram man in the same way that she addresses her husband.
(And stay in your houses,) means, stay in your houses and do not come out except for a purpose. One of the purposes mentioned in Shari`ah is prayer in the Masjid, so long as the conditions are fulfilled, as the Messenger of Allah said:
«لَا تَمْنَعُوا إِمَاءَ اللهِ مَسَاجِدَ اللهِ وَلْيَخْرُجْنَ وَهُنَّ تَفِلَات»
(Do not prevent the female servants of Allah from the Masjids of Allah, but have them go out without wearing fragrance.) According to another report:
«وَبُيُوتُهُنَّ خَيْرٌ لَهُن»
(even though their houses are better for them.)
(and do not Tabarruj yourselves like the Tabarruj of the times of ignorance,) Mujahid said: "Women used to go out walking in front of men, and this was the Tabarruj of Jahiliyyah.'' Qatadah said:
(and do not Tabarruj yourselves like the Taburruj of the times of ignorance,) "When they go out of their homes walking in a shameless and flirtatious manner, and Allah, may He be exalted, forbade that.'' Muqatil bin Hayyan said:
﴿وَلاَ تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَـهِلِيَّةِ الاٍّولَى﴾
(and do not Tabarruj yourselves like the Tabarruj of the times of ignorance,) "Tabarruj is when a woman puts a Khimar on her head but does not tie it properly.'' So her necklaces, earrings and neck, and all of that can be seen. This is Tabarruj, and Allah addresses all the women of the believers with regard to Tabarruj.
(and perform the Salah, and give Zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger.) Allah first forbids them from evil, then He enjoins them to do good by establishing regular prayer, which means worshipping Allah alone with no partner or associate, and paying Zakah, which means doing good to other people.
(and obey Allah and His Messenger.) This is an instance of something specific being followed by something general.
This is the commandment of Allah, they (women) should not be caged but they should not stay outside and do hard works rather they should take care of the house work and she can go out with his husband or alone (if its not too far and islamic hijab).Last edited by Afghanistan2010; 01-14-2012, 09:05 AM.High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.

Is it the way you appreciate all female members of you family? I can see your mom being so proud of you.Originally posted by badmash_khel View Postwe need to someone to cook, wash, clean etc.
anyways opposites attract, so yeah men are attracted to those pretty little creatures for some reason, maybe its nice to chat to a woman as talking with other men about intresting subjects all day can take its toll. men like to let their hair down from time to time and thats what women are there for.
It's where generalizations usually lead. Backfire hurt the people we didn't mean to hurt.

We live in a country where women are over-sexualised and sold as 'products'
for capitalist gains. A woman's beauty is splashed around everywhere, and
she is only judged by that. Islam tells a woman to cover up so that she is
not abused as Western women are.
Islam is the fastest growing faith in Britain. Hundreds and thousands of
Brits are reverting to Islam. By the middle of this century, over half of
Brits would be Muslims.
New research has shown more women convert to Islam than men - in fact, they
account for 60 per cent of conversions. They believed that they should be a
force for good by building bridges between the Muslim and Non Muslim
communities in order to understand Islam better.
Examples of women who have left high powered jobs in the city, educated
women who mostly found out about Islam independently via books, the internet
or discussion with Muslims; seem to be the picture that is portrayed in this
study. This clearly demonstrates a clear pattern of converts who while non
Muslim rethought their lives and actively sought to reject secular values,
for a belief system offering spiritual and worldly guidance in order to
regulate life in a meaningful and fulfilling way. The rejection of
materialism and decadence seem to be some of the catalysts in making that
change.
One of the most high-profile examples is Tony Blair's sister-in-law Lauren
Booth, who recently announced she had adopted the faith after a trip to
Iran. The conversion of Lauren Booth will have a positive impact, despite
claims that it is just attention-seeking. It will encourage people to
convert, unless they idolise her, but I think that it will educate people
and make them more interested in learning about Muslims. It’s all about
having a look at the Quran with an open mind, without presumptions and
assumptions…Then would the reader understand what the beautiful religion is
all about….
Increasing numbers of young, university-educated women in their twenties and
thirties are converting to Islam. Well – educated white women are more
likely to convert to Islam than other groups. Through wearing modest
clothing, all the way to a head scarf, it’s no longer about how you look, It’s
getting free from this idea that you are defined by your dress size.” At the
London Central Mosque in Regent’s Park, women account for roughly two thirds
of the “New Muslims” who make their official declarations of faith – and
most of them are under the age of 30.
The question is why are so-called liberated women choosing Islam. Such women
are part of an intriguing trend. They seek spirituality, a higher meaning,
and tend to be deep thinkers.
While 9/11 has led to a western military and ideological onslaught on Islam,
9/11 has also been the catalyst for increasing numbers, born and bred in the
west, to question and reject western values and convert to Islam.
It is also of no surprise that no matter what policies or narrative is
pushed by governments, writers, thinkers or elements of the media to try and
reason away such conversions as ‘fringe’, ‘coercion’ or ‘blind following,’
this trend will continue in a world that seeks to understand the extent to
which Capitalist liberal values have failed man in every sense and left a
void which can only be filled by the truth!
"I have always held the religion of Muhammad in high estimation because of
its wonderful vitality. It is the only religion which appears to me to
possess that assimilating capacity to the changing phase of existence which
can make itself appeal to every age. I have studied him - the wonderful man
and in my opinion for from being an anti-Christ, he must be called the
Saviour of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the
dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems
in a way that would bring it the much
needed peace and happiness: I have prophesied about the faith of Muhammad
that it would be acceptable to the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to
be acceptable to the Europe of today." [G.B. Shaw, THE GENUINE ISLAM, Vol.
1, No. 81936.]

if women have to cover themselves so as not to be harassed by men, proves my point that men have to stop their abuse of women.
as a western women i have rarely had this abuse that others appear to have experienced, so i have never felt the need to be protected, by covering myself. i was given empowerment to make my own decisions, as a child and this gave me the confidence to travel the world and see for myself how others live.
if islam is giving young people now, a deeper perspective about reality, i think that is good because the superficial/material direction, that the western world is taking and
not giving the young people better values, is not working. it is destructive in a general sense.
i have many friends and people i know of whose children have a good attitude, are not caught up in the peer pressure of makeup, clothing styles, binge drinking, gangs, and self harm. these children are good at school and feel confident in themselves due to good parenting.
i love some of the teachings i have read from mohammad but i don't have the need to follow a religion. some of these views i agree with or have incorporated into myself already.

As a woman without hijab : If a man is interested in you than just because of your appearance and not of your attitude or your character and similar.
Your truth beauty is reduced to the very ground,if you see a muslimah (she may not cover her face, which is not must) with headscarf, and hijab that does not point out her physical body, you are not sexually attracted as you may (as men) to females with tight jeans and similar you know it better.
That is the major point you missed (or did only half recognized)High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.
