I believe there is more than meets the eyes. History is just the recorded event, who knows what is not recorded and still to be discovered. Atlantis is supposed to be somewhere in the Atlantic ocean between Europe and America. Also there were old structures discovered in the Indian Oceans just off the coast near maharashtra, India. Those structures are believed to be 12 thousand years old or even older. There are also mayan pyramids in central america, pyramids in china and also some new pyramids discovered in Bosnia Herzegovina. Pyramids seem to have been very popular amongst ancient civilizations. I read somwhere that the pyramids in Egypt could have been designed by Hazrat Yusuf (as). The shape of the pyramid is very effective for storing material and preservation. Some people allege that's why Hazrat Yusuf (as) chose this shape when he was in charge of agriculture in Egypt to store wheat for times of famine which he invisioned in a dream.

i laugh when people announce that such and such king built such and such amazing monument. like, visualise the king, toiling away in the blazing hot sun for 25 years, removing his crown to wipe his sweaty brow........lol.
