I used to spend my summer vacations in foriegn office hostel which was just below margala hills and the jungle was fenced from building. There were monkeys in jungle and at night wild pigs used to come out at night with their small cute kids, i used to throw bread at them...

We have also wild pigs in our area in desolate places. Once some youngsters of our village were able to capture large black boar and then announcenment was made that all those who have dogs can bring them to have fight with boar. The wild pig was binded and then large number of dogs were attacked it. After intense battle boar died but it also took lives of 7 dogs.

yes I am from zabul and and the pigs have crossed over here too.

incidently, wild pigs i have seen in crop fields of nangarhar.
