  • Suspected Missile (usually fired from Kandahar Airfield) kills 39 and wounds 73 in Na

A wedding ceremony was hit hard by what is thought to have been a missile (Often fired from Kandahar Airfield) in Nagahan village of Arghandab district, killing 39 and injuring another 73 leaving most in critical condition.
A similar tragic incident took place last year in the month of Ramadan where according to witnesses, a sparkling missile hit the heart of Shahr e Naw-Kandahar killing 109 and demolishing tens of residential and commercial compounds.

Shlombay if you are gonna commit the sin of betting anyways, at least go with a bit higher number,,,,WTH is a 100 bucks =)

I won't bet with you though coz the answer is pretty clear, its either Canadian or some other foreign entity whose missile test went wrong and their first attempt will be blaming it on Taliban, if that didn't work then holding an inquiry and finally a huge favor to all Afghans "We are sorry for the loss of civilian lives"

According to the regular news agencies, it was a suicide attack and not a rocket/artillery attack....

The Taliban have said that they were not responsible for the attack. Perhaps we'll learn more in the coming days....

it wasnt a rocket attack, there were enough survivors there..anyone could have validated it if it was a rocket attack

it was a suicide blast, and as far as we know there is only group whose professional at that

This makes me think and ask:

                          • What is the proof for the ISI word being used here?
                          • How would ISI benefit from bombing a wedding?
                          • If people think it was ISI who did it, can it not also mean those who are opposite to ISI would do it to put a blame on them?
                          • What would those people who are opposed to ISI get from bombing a wedding?

                            Dear Brother Khattak

Anything to do with the destruction of Afghanistan is in the interests of ISI. So if a bomb kills innocent people, America will have another excuse to stay, so more material is used through Pakistan roads to reach NAto forces, Pakistan gets good money from the rent of its transport routes.

                            Kind Regards

                            Amanullah Maseed/Mahsud.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
