The home ministry has moved the Union Cabinet for deploying Rashtriya Rifles units and inducting additional helicopters for logistics in Naxal-affected areas of the country particularly Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Maharashtra. Till date, Rashtriya Rifles (RR), which has Indian Army


troops on deputation and functions under the defence ministry, is only restricted to counter-insurgency duties in Jammu and Kashmir.
Government sources said that with the Left-wing extremism now affecting more than 155 districts and showing signs of spreading to north-east and southern states of Karnataka, home minister P Chidambaram has proposed that RR units should be deployed for "static" duties in order to dominate the area, enthuse confidence among the local population and keep Maoists at bay.

"RR personnel will not take part in the operations but their mere presence and activity will be a confidence-building measure. Their work ethos and training will act as a force multiplier for central paramilitary forces (CPMFs) involved in anti-Naxalite duties in areas like Abujhmad forests in southern Chhattisgarh," said a senior official.

The home ministry proposal also seeks additional helicopters for deploying and supplying CPMFs in remote areas of Central India.

While North Block wants to augment its anti-Naxal capacities through hiring of air platforms in the interregnum, it is looking to the defence ministry and Indian Army to move some RR units from J&K to Naxal-hit areas and offer CPMFs as replacement in the Valley.

The army, however, is at slight variance with the home ministry proposal as it does not want to disturb the RR counter-insurgency grid in Jammu and Kashmir.

Instead, it is suggesting to the government that as the total sanction for RR battalions is 100 and only 63 have been raised and deployed in J&K, additional battalions up to 37 in number could be raised for Naxal areas as and when required.

The new RR units would supplement nearly 80 CPMF battalions already deployed.

While the army is preparing for any contingency in Naxal-dominated areas, it has already deployed a training brigade between Kondagoan west and Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh bordering Abujhmad forests.

While 71 Brigade of the Bareilly division trained CPMF troopers in jungle warfare till August this year, now 167 Brigade has been inducted to train new inductees in counter-insurgency missions.

a. In 1948 Pakistan failed to make adequate preparations for an invasion. No contact with the Kashmiri population was made. The Maharaja and Sheikh Abdullah were not engaged in parleys. The British chiefs of PA and RPAF obviously took their orders from Mountbatten at Delhi. These two should have been closed.The expected intervention by the Qabayel / tribesmen was not integrated into any planning. A cease-fire was agreed to hastily and without discussing terms. The most important fall out was the steam roll and naked torture unleashed by Indian troops on Kashmiris who now swore never to trust Pakistanis.

b. The 1965 betrayal was masterminded by Z A Bhutto, the illegitimate son of Shahnawaz Bhutto. This Frankenstein had spent his youth in Bomaby as a playboy. Some people always claimed he was an Indian mole - which he proved in 1965 and 1971. He duped Ayub into launching Op Gibraltar knowing all the while that that would see the end of Ayub. Under ZAB's personal guidance Musa, Akhtar Husain Malik and Mithha drew up an idiotic plan. The people of Kashmir and the people of Pakistan were totally ignored. Even the chiefs of PAF or PAF knew nothing. Neither did the cabinet or the two Governors. Diplomatic activity by Pak and political work in Kashmir was totally ignored. This time the hapless Kashmiris swore again not to trust Pakistanis again. CFL was downgraded to LOAC (Line of Actual Control). Innocent Kashmiris or Pakistanis did not grasp the implication.

c. In 1971 Bhutto agreed to further downgrading the CFL into an LOC in Simla.

d. Benazir with the aid of her Secularist minister Aytezaz Ahsan sabotaged Kashmiri jehad as well as Khalistan freedom movement.

e. With Nawaz Sharif and PML in power, the Mujahedeen made fresh efforts. Then entered the Jew-Qadyani input Mushi. He sabotaged all the gains made by the Mujahedeen fresh from their victory against the Soviets.

f. Now comes Zardari the goon, a slave of his Western Christian Civilization masters. The Kashmiri struggle is all but kindled.

g. Waiting on the wings is Imran Khan (IK). He has laready published a map of Pakistan where ZAB's LOC is shown as the international border.

2. However, so much blood has been shed and so much atrocities and tortures suffered by the people of J&K that it is not possible for people sitting in the comforts of Washigton DC, Islamabad or New Delhi to be totally subdued for good. Kashmiris are good Muslims. They know how to rise after a Karbala.

The mere mention of Jewish and Qadiyani involvement in the Kashmir issues throws this arguement down the gutters.

Pakistan has unleashed some of the worst Jihadi militants in the whole world in the name of Kashmir Jihad.

Its just mere scare mongering.

What has secularism got to do with the Kashmir conflict.

Finally.............for your own Info, ISI and Pakistan has protected your Kashmir Mujahdieen on many occasions and even released your leaders too.

Take the example of the indian air liner hijacking in Kandahar.

I dont blaime the Indians in their handling of the Kashmiri Militant Jihadists.

also on a final note why would you bring up a Mujahideen issue and add a Non Muslim Khalistan issue into it too? I dont see the sense in that.

A plan has been accepted by all the leaders who are not going to tell the public anything immediately. IK will be used to bell the cat.

2. Once all Mujahedeen activity has ceased the Kashmiri Pandits will return. With the aid and support of the Hindus in the administration they are going to take out their wrath on the Kashmiri Muslims.

Pakistan was under US and Indian pressure to reign in its Jihadi elements. It was playing its usual double game of clamping down on militants at one side of the border while giving them every resource they needed on the other side. And this support to Jihai elements has eaten the Pakistani society from within. Look at the number of terror attacks in Pakistan. As they say, you cant keep a poisonous snake in your yard and expect not to get bitten.

2. Once all Mujahedeen activity has ceased the Kashmiri Pandits will return. With the aid and support of the Hindus in the administration they are going to take out their wrath on the Kashmiri Muslims.

This is the perfect kind of scaremongering ever created. First you drive those Kashmiri Pandits out of their homes, a sort of ethnic cleansing and then when things normalize you oppose them returning to their homes.
