The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

not really exited,after seeing karzai trying to fool Afghans into accepting permanent occupation,i think that went a little too far.

afghans need to talk to each other about afghanistans future, not talk to foreigners about afghanistans future.
another worthless summit where these sellouts can showcase their begging skills.There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

i think afghanistan together with Pakistan can build a mechanism that should provide more stability in the region...major powers in Afghan-pakistan togehter can only solve the problem/senseless killingComment
