I used to eat meat once a month by the way, and I can not eat beef because I have realized that the death of a cow can never be halal since it takes too long for a cow to die.

But a while ago, I came to the realization that there is no such thing as halal meat in the West since most of the halal meat is raised on farms owned by non-Muslims.

These animals are fed with other meat products such as pork to "fatten" them up, and they are also mistreated like in this video.

i was thinking of this comment you made the other day, it makes sense, I wonder what is the answer. If there is no such thing as halal, I think being vegetarian is the way to go.

^ I was reading, what prophet(pbuh) ate, and his diet was mostly non meat based, very healthy. I believe he also discouraged us eating too much meat like (unknownprince) mentioned

In English we have a saying "you are what you eat"

If we eat too much unhealthy food and food that contains many haraam and harmful things, it will defiantly affect us in ways we can't even imagine. Unforuntaly in most muslim countries our diet is really bad, we dont follow prophet's sunnah in this matter at all.
