Lollzz....you are so right, I mean Pashtunkhwa has zero resources right? They don't any oil in karak, no rivers, no irrigation, oh wait minerals in malakand division are just a mirage right? Kabul has no businesses, and jalalabad I believe is a desert. Thank you sir for enlightening me. Your wisdom knows no bounds.

Smarty let me give you a little insight into history. Quetta is a pashto word it is derived from Fortress. Quetta and north balochistan were part of Afghanistan (like all of Pashtunkhwa), and in the treaty of Gandamak and Durand, they were split from Afghanistan. Then the British took the pashtun areas like Quetta, Zhob, pishin, loralai, qilla abdullah, etc and added Bugti and Marri tribal areas. It was called British Balochistan. Then when Pakistan was created and one unit was imposed it (like the rest of west pakistan at the time) became one entity. After the break up of one unit, it was put under balochistan (just as the British did before). Even Baloch nationalists know that quetta and north is Pashtun areas, they have no claim to it, nor can they. Quetta is still majority pashtun city. The Pashtuns in those areas are very close to Kandahar and maintain those close links.Originally posted by Smarty View Post^balochistan means land of balochs, balochs have right to claim over their capital quetta.

His Answer will be a slap on faces of many so-called nationalists present here.

Ok Son of Mountains, name me one country where taxi drivers and regular folk set up political policy. Lolzz not even here in Canada, which is fairly democratic and open, its own educated people do not understand the underpinnings of policy. You expect every Tom, **** and Harry to do the same in Pashtunkhwa? Come on.Originally posted by Son of Mountains View PostOh the topic was very goood, which was spreading love/peace among pashtuns....plz come on guys.....start again degrading paakistan....balay balay holy afganistan

A taxi driver is assumed not an educated man, a layman (so probably not brain washed by pakistani govt/media/books, as u claim)....so i brought example of a taxi driver.Originally posted by BLS_1919v2.0 View PostOk Son of Mountains, name me one country where taxi drivers and regular folk set up political policy. Did I say he was brainwashed? It doesn't make a difference if he is a matric fail or PHd. The fact of the matter is that, they don't make policy. A million plus people protested the Iraq war in UK, and even then Tony Blair went to war. These people were not ignorants, hec they weren't even muslim or Arab. Yet they protested against their government and it didn't make an inkling of difference. They still went to war. We really can't base political policy like that. Also I am asking for unity for the Pashtuns. I increasingly see that the policy adopted by Pak army, ISI is not in the benefit of Pashtuns. So I would rather than Pashtuns unite and protect themselves. I don't want them to be abused by others.Originally posted by Son of Mountains View PostA taxi driver is assumed not an educated man, a layman (so probably not brain washed by pakistani govt/media/books, as u claim)....so i brought example of a taxi driver.

You oftenly use to claim this. I know you from CK Sir.Originally posted by BLS_1919v2.0 View PostDid I say he was brainwashed? It doesn't make a difference if he is a matric fail or PHd.
This is the thing, every pashtun of today wants. But u would not like the ground reality of today that majority pashtuns of Peshawar, mardan, kohat, swabi, attock and many other regions do not want to include themselves in Afghanistan.Originally posted by BLS_1919v2.0 View PostAlso I am asking for unity for the Pashtuns.
Although Pashtunistan is acceptable idea, yet many are those who want a united pakistan, getting their all rights truely.
Even then 2nd biggest population in Pak-Army is of pashtuns (Afghan?)Originally posted by BLS_1919v2.0 View PostI increasingly see that the policy adopted by Pak army, ISI is not in the benefit of Pashtuns. bls and nazia, u both shud accept the fact that quetta now belongs to balochistan not afghanistan. it has also large population of balochs beside pashtuns. keep in minds that we have no right to impose ourselves on balochs like punjabis.Originally posted by naziaSmarty, Than how do you explain people from Quetta speaking like Kandaharis, and influenced by Kandaharis? Smarty, baloch lay no claim on the Pashtun areas. If you don't even know this basic fact of the region, then it wouldbe prudent not to pass judgement. The Pashtuns there are far more traditional than in Peshawar (or Kabul for that matter). The Pashtun area within Pakistan is continguous but has been divided up into 4 parts. Quetta is pashtun and everything north of it is as well. No major baloch leader has even dared to claim nor are interested.Originally posted by Smarty View Postbls and nazia, u both shud accept the fact that quetta now belongs to balochistan not afghanistan. it has also large population of balochs beside pashtuns. keep in minds that we have no right to impose ourselves on balochs like punjabis.
