  • Shahbaz sharif: 'Pakistan has nuclear weapons but is still a beggar state'

Shahbaz said the October 28 rally at Nasir Bagh is a "war to save the country".

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that despite having nuclear weapons, the present government has made Pakistan into “a beggar state”, Express 24/7 reported on Wednesday.
He made this statement while addressing traders at the Mall Road in Lahore.
Shahbaz said the October 28 rally at Nasir Bagh is a “war to save the country” and should not be taken as an act for any political gain. He also said that he will make important announcements during the rally, which he descried as a protest against the increase in power tariff, load shedding and corruption.

The PML-N is scheduled to take out a rally on October 28, led by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
