Hi Arevapasht, there are so many things to say, I don't know where to start.
1. There are times when Muslims do bad things, there are times when Muslims do wrong against non-Muslims (and of course vice versa). Islam does not teach us to side with Muslims against non-Muslims in evil e.g. Islam would forbid me to join some Azeris and rob and kill Armenians without provocation.
However Islam does tell us that we are brothers, must respect each other and defend each other. There is nothing exceptional about this, any culture, political ideology, nationalist movement will say the same. Armenian nationalism will tell Armenians they must protect the rights of Armenians in Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, France, Argentina etc.
Me mentioning the Iranian role in the Azeri-Armenia conflict was not my main point but an adjunct point, but to highlight the hypocrisy of the Iranian regime and that it does not work for Islam, contrary to its false claims and massive global media machine.
As for the realities of the Azeri-Armenia conflict that was not the main focus of my posts. I cannot comment as I am not well versed in this conflict. I am ignorant and I freely admit this, as Imam Malik (rahmatullahi 'alaih) said "To say I don't know is half of knowledge".
However imagine Israel claimed to be the defender of Jews and there was a conflict between some Jews and some non-Jews, and Israel (for whatever reason) sided with the non-Jews, would they not be traitors to Jewishness. Or if an Armenian nationalist group sided with non-Armenians against Armenians would they not be traitors?
That is all, a simple basic fact that a 12 year old would understand (not that you don't, I am just saying).
2. Many people misuse religion for political goals, or even personal benefit. Iran, Pakistan, Turkey (I praise the good things they do and criticise the bad, including my country Bangladesh, here I have called our government's policy on Kosova, "shameful") etc all exploit religion for political goals. However truly religious people who are learned know that this is a common occurance and are not duped. Islam is a creed which speaks to all humanity about their relationship to their creator and the hereafter. However idiots like Kafir Maseed and others will then deliberately pounce like vultures on the misdeeds of regimes like Pakistan to blame this on Islam. They then say if you believe in Islam and do not support Pakistan you are a hypocrite since in their evil minds: To follow Islam = support Pakistan.
This is false.
Islam has existed before and will exist after Pakistan, a failed state with a lifespan shorter than the Coca-Cola company. I don't call Pakistan a "banana republic", but a "Coca-Cola Republic", with all respect to Cocal Cola which has a history longer than Kafir Maseed's country, Pakistan.

Coca-Cola ad from the 1930s before Kafir Maseed's country, Pakistan was created by Britain.

Pakhtun/Afghan empire before the United States, the company where Coca-Cola was founded, even existed.
3. On to the actual issue of the Azerbaijan-Armenia war.
Azeris did not fight for Islam, (but they are Muslims). Armenians did not fight against Islam.
In this region conflicts are primarily ethnic.
Georgia (Orthodox) v Russia (Orthodox).
Georgia (Orthodox) v Abkhazia (Orthodox).
Georgia (Orthodox) v South Ossetia (Orthodox).
TSK, fascist Turkish army ("Muslim") v Kurds (Muslim).
(* I say "Muslim" because the TSK were secular fascists who hated Islam and Muslims but now these dogs have been tamed by Erdogan, though I respect the ordinary soldiers and general army of Turk not their fascist officers*)
I am not trying to say Armenians are enemies of Islam, or Azeris are defenders/champions of Islam. It was an ethnic conflict. Thank you for your information about the Avars, Tolish, Lezgins.
I thought Imam Shamil (rahmatullahi 'alaih) was Lezgin until I read your post. Ahmadenijad is supposed to be half "Azeri", half Baluchi (not that I really care, he is a fascist thug).
4. Anyway the thread is about the freedom and protection of Kosova from white power extremists (e.g. retro), communists/neo-communists (Kafir Maseed) who want to destroy this country, and subjugate/exterminate the Muslims there.
Kosova has been betrayed by the Muslim world. "Muslim" regimes recognize south Sudan but not Kosova.
Kosova was ethnically cleansed in the 1950s with the Serb prime minister of Yugoslavia, Rankovic organizing Kosovars being sent to Turkey.
The Albanian nationalists in Kosova were secularists and were hostile to non-Albanian Muslim groups in the beginning, a policy they have changed. The Albanian elite in Kosova is very wary of being associated with Islam as in their eyes it makes them seem "less European/not European" in the eyes of white Christian Europe. They make a massive cathedral in Prishtina but are reluctant to construct an equally big mosque there.
However at the end of the day Kosovars are Muslim and Islam tells us that they are our brothers. I do not care about their leaders but about the ordinary Muslims there. Serbs on the internet day and night mention Kosova and Islam. Kosova = Islam, Muslims, Kosova = Islam and Muslims as if being Muslim is a crime and Islam is a disease.
I don't know if I will update this particular thread with Kosova-related news or start separate threads, but my message to Serb extremists, their right wing American & European supporters, global anti-Islamic movement, neo-communists and other enemies of Islam is that though Kosova is small, landlocked and isolated they have the du'as of true Muslims from Morocco to Indonesia behind them.

Kosova refugees flee the Yugoslav army operation on Kosova. Like the American-backed Pakistan army operation on East Pakistan, there was a huge refugee exodus from Kosova by Albanians (as Bengalis fled the Pakistan army offensive and massacres).

Victims of the Yugoslav army in Kosova.

Turkish army. Turkey may militarily intervene in Kosova if Kosovar is attacked by Serbs seeking to emulate a Ferdinand and Isabella style "reconquista" and destroy Islam in Kosova and the Balkans as "Islam does not belong in the Balkans" (as according to white extremist, Christian fundamentalists, neo-communists and others).
Turkey has the biggest army in Europe, a massive navy e.g. far stronger than Israel's and has a defence pact with Albania and almost went to Greece in the 1990s over Albania. Prime minister Erdogan a few months ago in his 50% election victory said the victory for his AKP was also good news for Muslims in the region from Sarajevo (Bosnia) to Jerusalem (Palestinians), an implicit signal that it would seek to use its influence to protect Muslims from aggressors in the region.

A female officer of the Bangladesh army. Bangladesh has the largest number of UN peacekeeping forces in the world and at one time had troops in Kosova. The current Awami league government in Dhaka does not recognize the Prishtina government, however Bangladesh is one of the strongest allies of Turkey and the Turkish army. Bangladesh rather than Indonesia, Egypt or Saudi Arabia was asked by the US to send troops to Afghanistan.
Bangladesh was one of the strongest, if not the strongest supporter of Turkey over Northern Cyprus and will stand by Ankara in operations it carries out to defend civilians.
