Iran will not recognize Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence although certain members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation are requesting from the country to do so, Iran's Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Mohammad Mehdi Akhondzadeh has stated.

Iran does not recognize Kosovo, Akhondzadeh told journalists in the residence of the Iran's ambassador to Belgrade on Tuesday evening.

He added that certain Iranian MPs are laying stress on Islamic solidarity, and urging Teheran to recognize Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence.

Akhondzadeh, who headed the Iranian delegation on a two-day ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Belgrade, congratulated Serbia on the organization of the 50th anniversary of the NAM.

The Iranian official, who visited Belgrade for the first time, said that he hopes that Serbia and Iran will in future promote their friendly relations.

    1. Iranian regime showing their true nature and siding with Orthodox Serbia against Muslim Kosovo.

    2. Iran supported Christian Armenia against Muslim Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh war which lead to 1 million Azeri refugees.

    3. Iran persecutes its Arab population in Ahwaz and tries to restrict the use of Arabic, the language of the Quran.

    4. Iran persecutes its sunni minority and the names "Umar" and "Ayesha" are illegal under Iranian law. Official figures state the number of Sunnis in Iran is 10%, it is more likely to be 20-25%.

Yes, one of my friends was married to an Iranian Kurd. In her village she was know as Ayesha, on legal documents she can't use this name.

The Iranian regime is two-faced, preaches Sunni-Shia unity, gets its missionaries to say to Muslims in other countries "Sunni-Shia brother...no problem...we are all brothers", whilst persecuting its Sunnis and systematically seeking to destroy Sunni Islam in Iran.

It betrayed and backstabbed Azerbaijan as well, which is actually Shia.

          not just that

the shias in Iraq were systematically kiling anyone named omar or aisha, they massacred thousands of sunnis.

the same is going on in pukhtunkhwa and Afghanistan, the shias are killing sunnis.

Khomeinei came to Iran on an "Air France" plane courtesy of the French Republic.

He was helped in to power for a certain reason.

The Iranian regime has destroyed, bulldozed Sunni mosques and killed Sunni scholars.

Unfortunately there hasn't yet been an Arab spring style revolt to bring the regime down.

the Iranian government yesterday issued a decision banning Sunni Muslims from praying at state universities and military camps, Asharq Al-Awsat has learnt.
wwrn.org)-This decision comes within the framework of pressurizing the Sunni community in Iran, which has been taking place for decades.
This ban, which was confirmed by Sunni sources in Tehran, came after Sunni Muslims were banned from holding communal Friday prayers services in their homes in cities like Isfahan, Shiraz, Kerman, and Yazd.

Sheikh Abdul-Hamid Esmaeel Zahi, the highest authority for Sunni Muslims in Iran and the imam and preacher of the Makki Mosque, the largest Sunni mosque in Iran located in the city of Zahedan, expressed his sorrow at the ban. He said, "We are very sorry that some elements have come forward to ban Friday prayers from being held in the home and placed restrictions on this practice. This group is ideologically deviant and they truly have a narrow outlook and are overly sensitive with regards to [Sunni] mosques and schools and advocacy."

I have criticized a lot of the Muslim regimes and reject Wahabism, Kemalism, Khomeneism and have even criticized the Bangladeshi government and military.

Iran is just another brutal regime in the middle east. Assad is a war criminal and a brutal dictator as I have said before, but the relative stability he provides is better than the complete destruction of Syria and total lawlessness that the US seeks to create in Syria through US-sponsored Salafists e.g. ISIS, Nusra etc.

Just as I oppose majority Shia persecution of Sunnis, I oppose majority Sunni persecution of Shias e.g. in Saudi, Bahrain etc.

Relative stability that Assad provides... What?

Relative to what? A gigantic asteroid colliding into Earth?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
