Taliban: 64 US troops killed in Kandahar
PressTV - Taliban: 64 US troops killed in Kandahar

    Sat Aug 27, 2011 5:45PM GMT

The Taliban claim that 64 US-led troops have been killed in two bomb attacks they launched in the southern city of Kandahar earlier on Saturday.

According to incoming reports one attack claimed the lives of 36 US-led soldiers and the second attack killed 28 troops.

In the last attack on the British Council, the ANA/ANP were trying to restrict reporters and video coverage of the events.

Covering of casualties is not new with the American gov. They did this in Vietnam, Korea, and Iraq.

Press TV, well when 31 US soldiers were killed when the Chinook was shot down , Press TV was the first to report it,

then Karzai held a press conference, confirming it, and every other news outlet followed through?

Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

umm, it should work. I will post it using the tool provided here then. PressTV will post the full article up when they have written a report (its Breaking News now). I will then post that.

                Its true.

Anyways, you can read the comment section of PressTV if you want to see peoples opinions on it. in a country like Afghanistan where there is high resentment, especially in the Pashtun areas, it makes no logical sense that the US/NATO average 2 casualties a day.

This is not the first time Taliban claim to have killed numerous US soldiers and each time, it was not true. Example: about 3 weeks ago and it was not true. However, if it is true, yes, this is good news. By the way, how do they know the exact amount of soldiers killed? Do they take time to count them? I doubt it. Propaganda, as usual.

                        thats exactly true

they are totally biased and even cut people off when they feel they arent talkign in their partyline.

they have also never made a single programe criticising the shia state of iran or any other shia groups such as hezbollah.

they support the shias against saudi in their news and also support shias in yeman but they dont support the syrian protesters.

even on Afghanistan their biasness prevails and their guests are never Pashtuns.Btw they have reported on the quds day and thats when they showd a pashtun from afghanistan who was a shia.

so their news has gone down the drain but that still doesnt mean they will blatanly lie about news of casualities of american soldiers.

What I am trying to tell you all, had Karzai not made a press conference about the US Chopper which was shot down, we would have only had the PressTv article and the Taliban claims to go by. The Taliban claimed the 38 (31 US and 7 Karzai/Spanta National Army) soldiers first.

Again, PressTv was the first to speak of the crash, and also the casualties.
