PressTV - Job done: Breivik said after terror
The Norwegian terrorist, Anders Behring Breivik, who hit the country with two deadly attacks in July, called the police to let know he has carried out the acts of terror.
"I have fulfilled my operation," he said on two phone calls he made to the police respectively 26 minutes and one minute before his arrest, AFP reported on Thursday.
Breivik hung up in both cases and the authorities could not reach him again, the police say.
Holding fascist and anti-Islamic beliefs, Breivik killed 77 people in a car bomb attack and a shooting rampage he respectively carried out against the government headquarters in Oslo and the Utoeya Island in the south on July 22.
He has boasted that the killings were necessary and a part of what he described as a crusade against Islamization of Europe.
According to the police, he has said during interrogations that he had 'other targets' in mind on the day of the killings.
The terrorist is being held in isolation in a high-security prison.
