KABUL, Afghanistan — The Afghan Interior Ministry says a rocket that was fired into the heart of the Afghan capital did not cause any damage or casualties.
Ezatullah, an Afghan police officer who responded to the scene, told The Associated Press that the rocket landed early Wednesday morning inside the presidential palace compound.

Another police official in that district of the capital had also confirmed it landed within the perimeter of the spacious presidential palace compound. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the information.
A U.S. military official, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, said the rocket didn’t strike the palace and no damage was reported.
    The police are investigating.

The rocket(s) landed in the presidential compound. Apparently, this is not big news for some reason.

yeah, I think once before, but it was no big deal.

This time though, it appears they used surface to surface rockets because they have confirmed the rocket landed inside the compound.

they must be using those wimpy hamas style rockets.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

A bomb planted on a motorcycle exploded in a vegetable market in southern Afghanistan on Tuesday, killing eight people at dusk as residents broke their daily fast for the holy month of Ramadan, authorities said.

The motorcycle bomb in the south was parked at the market in the Dihrawud district of Uruzgan province, said provincial council director Amanullah Otaq. He said eight people were killed and dozens wounded.
