31 US forces killed in Afghanistan

A member of the Afghan Local Police (ALP) in Wardak, who wished to remain anonymous, said he saw the wreckage of the helicopter and that it had been shot in the nose with an RPG.
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid, speaking to GlobalPost, said his fighters had used “a weapon similar to an RPG,” but would not elaborate further.

@randolph i was actually referring to any MANPAD that the talib could get their hands on, and if Pakistan is equipping them then probably ANZA or something and stingers are still active..not the AIM-92 perhaps but MANPADs are an indispensable low level air defence tool for armoured units

How are they going to hide Bin Laden wives that saw the whole thing take place which are now in custody of Pakistan? How are they going to hide all those other witnesses and involved that helped locate Bin Laden? If they wanted to take care of these seals they could have come up with something like their copter going down due to malfunction why give Taliban the credit of getting those who took Bin Laden out?

I guess these people are shocked....it is something out of the ordinary and strange that this happened. What are the chances of this happening unless some sort of divine force was behind it. I mean 20 seals from the same unit that took Bin Laden out now dead just with a single rocket from a Talib? You cant make that up even if you were working for Hollywood.

My condolenses the the Afghan-American Linguist as well. He was only their to support his family. They aren't armed and do not work for the military.
