Its mostly because of the idiotic governor these things are happening. The governor is an obstacle to progress because of his corruption. He does not work for the people. If the Taliban wants to succeed they should never kill him. They should let him stay for as long as possible.

I hope then that they change him, Khost and Paktia were once one I hope they devolope that region fast, so the peopel can benifit from it. In Khost they are planing to built an airport I really hope they succeed in that, if thats done I really think the economy of that region would grow fast.
