Go and ask the people of Nangarhar and they will tell you if they prefer him or your Taliban buddies.

He works hard and even sweeps the streets of Jalalabad himself, and that being the governor. He sings and loves music too.
This post made me laugh out loud.
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

SO HERE IS A QUESTION THAT ACTUALLY MATTERS...WHAT SHOULD EUNUCHS DO WITH THEIR LIVES? THEY ARE NOT ACCEPTED BY THE SOCIETY, APPARENTLY THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GET MARRIED...ARE WE SUPPOSED TO PRETEND THEY DON'T EXIST? OR DO THEY NOT HAVE A RIGHT OVER HAPPINESS OR lIFE? AT THIS POINT OF TIME, I M NOT BEING SARCASTIC. WHAT DOES ISLAM SAY ABOUT THIS?

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

I dont want to defend anyone as well, there is no doubt that gul agha is one of the most successful governer in afghanistan, during the soviet war he was motivated by pretty boys and wine in heaven. i have heard his interview when he was young. his father was pailoch(barefoot) soldier the most successful one in qandahar eventhough he wa 70 years old.

What a bunch of lies! Taliban themselves preferred having men besides them and they actually ousted Sherzai for doing the same!? If he indeed was tend to marry a boy then he would have been killed by Taliban (as fake as they are), not just ousted! I just returned from Nangarhar and people in Nangarhar absolutely love him and my in-laws even felt offended when I said I heard he is into men!

I won't say I am convinced he is not into men and that he is a great person or whatever, but he has done a lot for Nangarhar and people of Nangarhar really love and respect him and he wouldn't have been able to even keep a foot in Nangarhar if he indeed tended to do something as disgusting as MARRYING a boy! Maybe he did 'keep boys' because unfortunately that still is happenings in Afghanistan by huge number of men, but actually wanting to marry them is just pure BS.

thats what we Afghans 're good at Shayesta jan. if someone does bad then we start saying that we shouldnt judge others quickly but when someone does good then we 're again first ones to talk crap about that person. Sherzai has done more than any other governor in Afghanistan, instead of thanking him we make up lies about him.
