basically the first talib is saying that if the promises made to us are kept by the government then more talibs would lay down their arms and join the government. the second talib said that the government promised him a home and it has not been delivered but he is confident.

These things happen on a regular basis, progress will not be made unless corruption is tackled and people interests are represented.

LMAO, about Talibs are not stupid and they can win through ballots. Graver, you are a funny dude and once again I am never wrong about you. ;-) First of all Talibs don't believe in ballot, and secondly those win through ballots that can serve the needs of people and people can actually look up to them, these Talibs on the other hand can hardly qualify. They are the least qualified people in any sense, and I doubt they can even provide for themselves. :-)

You fail to realize many rank and file Taliban joined the Taliban because the Government does not reflect their needs and the Taliban appear to do so more than the Government.
