Faisalabad suicide attack, 3 suspects held
FAISALABAD: Intelligence Agencies have arrested the three suspects on identification of Hafiz Usman Ghani, arrested in connection with Faisalabad suicide attack, here on Friday.

More than 25 persons including a lady officer of PIA were killed, while more than one hundred persons injured eight of them seriously in a Powerful explosion at CNG Station situated near offices of intelligence agencies in Civil Lines area on Tuesday.
After Faisalabad bomb blast, police arrested Hafiz Usman Ghani resident of Kot Islam(Kabir Wala). During interrogation Hafiz Usman Ghani confessed that he got training from Afghanistan, vehicle was taken from Dera Ismail Khan and purchased explosive materials from tribal areas.
He added that he had two companions with him, who were dropped off at Chanab Club Chowk for surveillance. After the explosion, both fled from the scene whereas police arrested him.
The Intelligence Agencies and Elite Force conducted joint operation and on identification of Hafiz Usman, the Agencies arrested three more suspects among them an Imam in local university.
The arrested have been identified as Hafiz Muhammad Khalid Imam in local mosque, his brother Muhammad Zubair and Usama. The arrested suspects have been shifted to unknown place for further investigations. Meanwhile Police has seized all unclaimed vehicles, positioned before PIA building at site of blast and started investigation. The police has obtained Chasis number from the Excise Dept of all the unclaimed vehicles.
