Re GYE:

I see, of COURSE, how alarming for Afghans even in remote villages
to not be able to take out the herd of sheep without having eyes
peering down from the skies.

Of all places to have such interruption of one's peace of mind:
the quiet, lovely Afghan countryside with crystal blue sky
due to the lack of pollution and the mountain ranges probably.

I wonder if there is no longer that brilliant azure sky overhead,
due to a decade of
nato flights/ vehicles/ trucks etc. generating one assumes
large amounts of smoke & exhaust.

the other one they were planning to send to afghanistan is, the 'gorgon stare' that can do surveillence over a whole small city. they have found it is faulty, so it hasn't been sent yet.

[khushal]

They will one day have surveillance all over the world. Afghanistan is just a test.
