i have seen a couple of afghan and iranian movies and i loved them. one was about a woman census collector. the other was about an old man and a boy on a walking journey into the wilderness where they had adventures. (i think that one was afghan.) anyway, i found these movies to be very sensitive, slow and great character studies.

sorry graveyardofempires, i clicked that and a sign came onto the screen saying i could not watch it on this website. i am able to watch some. i saw some of the taliban torture one, no probs. did not want to watch all of it though. last night i got a virus sign come up with a utube on here but the sign came up again when i went to watch it at utube. so i don't now what is going on. if it is just my laptop, or what.

yes, it is an acer and heavy as a ton of bricks! if i was travelling it is as heavy as all my other luggage put together. but i like it. my friend who knows a lot about computers reckons it's a pretty good one. with mod tech i am a neanderthal.
