Not getting into the dispicable original post. But would like to comment on the whole
convert thing. Who cares if we are converts? Aren't ALL muslims converts? Islam isn't about blood, it's about a common mindset and vision for the way we must live. This isn't tribalism.
Either way, this PP guy is a troll.

my point wasn't to mock people as converts, even the first Arab Muslims were converts.
My point was to put things into perspective that while PakistaniPatriot mocks Hinduism and their culture he ignores how deeply engrained that much of those traits exist in Indic areas of Pakistan, such as Punjab and Sindh. Perhaps even to some degree with Pashtuns and Balouch as well.

Indian=Pakistani
Pakistani=Indian
I mean Panjabi, Sindhi and Urdu-Speaking people when I say
the only difference between them is one's majority is Muslim and other is Hindu otherwise, same culture and same language.
This is Pashtun forum, leave your little Indo-Paki issues at home.

^ i disagree a bit, you see as muslims our culture is also a bit different, for example muslim foods, clothes, the way we speak, behave is different from lets say hindus. Also pakistan since last 60 years has changed, it has become more muslimized and arabized, hindus today are pretty different from pakistanis.
now ofcourse i agree there are still similarities, but to say we are completly the same is wrong, even indian muslims are different from their hindu counter parts. Remember islam also effects your culture, there is a seperate muslim culture in south asia, which is seperate from hindu culture
now if you say north indian muslims have a same/similar culture to pakistanis, then yes i would agree to thatLast edited by Karachi; 02-07-2011, 01:35 PM.
