The holy ganges river might be worshiped by Hindus, but many Pakistanis worship dead people. They prostrate to graves and they believe in saints and stuff.
So what difference that is make? Pakistan and India are practically the same.

Thats true. And Pakistan is the home of some of the most extreme sufis and a very large number of rural Pakistanis are into all sorts of idol-worshiping.
This is because Pakistan and India are the same.
Pakistanis shouldn't comment on shirk and idolworshiping of India. Because both countries have quite allot of it.
i also have seen many Punjabi and Urdu Pakistanis do Indian rituals during weddings- the walking around thing, and the wearing of those roses around the neck.
Its not good to see. Some also still are influenced by Hinduism like the obsession with status based on wealth rather then honor.
^^lol, that is not true no-one in the world is going to believe that
I'd believe it, I've witnessed it, although I wouldn't label it worship, but it's this extreme and very HINDU-ESQUE demogoguery of seeking benedictions and relying on the mercy of Saints much like Hindus rely on their Gurus.
That doesn't mean that there arent highly meritable men amongst these Saints who we cant derive inspiration and guidance from; but the sort of culture around it is not Islamic and is heavily promoted in Pakistan.
I wholly agree the rituals. practices and customs associated with this idolization of the Ganges river is disgusting; but it's not as if Paklistani culture doesnt have disgusting traits, often inherited from their Hindu past.
