Enough of these personal attacks, let's be more cordial with each other.

Talal Brother, telling someone to leave a thread or not post in it is not the solution. Everyone is entitled to different views and everyone will express them. If you're looking for views that will mirror yours, that is very unlikely to come your way (on this forum at least). There are always two sides to a story, and anyone presenting either side will stand by theirs. You have opened the topic to discussion, now carry on. Be open to difference, as it is bound to come your way. On a general note, I like your contributions to this forum. Always informative and entertaining. Keep them coming.

As for everyone else, remember basic etiquettes when posting your views. Remember that most of us only know each other through our posts. So watch out for the kind of language you use and what sort of tone it creates and the hidden messages it may send. My intentions are not to disappoint.

Thanks Mesbah, I appreciate it. I know I haven't been the most cordial, but I will be from now on.

You're most welcome Jameson. We have a saying in Pakhto which can be translated as: A fish is always fresh no matter when you take it out of water. Which basically means, it is never too late =)

I am not looking for views that mirror mine, and yes i am open to discussions but you have to have an argument to discuss.. An argument requires some source or something that you can base your argument on, these guys aren't discussing they're trolling the same rhetoric in every single thread and when i ask them why they say that or to provide a proof or source atleast for whatever they're saying they reply with this

I would highly appreciate it if you guys can add a source when you make a claim or attempt to state a fact, Not only would it improve our readership and give respect to the person who has put enormous research behind the source but it would also add more weight to your claim/argument.

                        Thank you very much,

And this exactly wasnt a controversial political thread, it was merely meant to honour a fallen brother who died protecting innocent civilian and look at the comments below.

These guys are violating forum rules and your telling me not to stop them from derailing this thread more than they already have ?

and i didnt tell them to shove it right away, i asked them politely to keep the posts relevant to the topic

and still they continued to troll and i am dissapointed that as a mod you didn't see that. I am open to discussion sis, i have no problem with arguing but there are certain rules that come along with it, and im not the one whose violating them

                        Thank you

and you can read these posts below and see what they're "discussing"

BUt don't come telling me Pakistani army and police are innocent.

Joining the army or the police in Afghanistan & Pakistan is like joining a gang or an organized drug cartel in AMerica. There is NO WAY you can be legit once you are a member.

Their drones are 24 hours a day bombarding Pakistani villages and you still think that Pakistan is a sovereign state. If it wasn't for the money that they get from IMF and World Bank the government would't survive for one they.

Or is the Pakistani army fighting against their own people in Waziristan, NWF etc.?

I have read the forum rules and understand them. And I have also addressed the other participants of this thread in my post. You were not alone. If however you feel that I am targetting you and disregarding the posts of other members, I apologise, but that is not the case.

I haven't accused you of violating forum rules. In fact, I am aware that you assissted in creating them and so you would understand them better than many. If you reread, I have asked that you keep the discussion running. The point you have failed to understand, or I have failed to communicate is that discussion - yes - but within the boundaries of etiquette and respect, and I didn't address you alone.

My intentions are not to disappoint. =)

cheers, if it was the first time i was reading comments from the respective members i would have been more accomodating, but since its the same story in every thread and the exact same rhetoric without anything to validate its authenticity, you can see why i told them to just leave the thread. And i might have come off as being rude, but thats to be expected considering the prupose of the thread was just to appreciate a guy who already didnt get any recognition at national level and this thread except for some comments was completely butchered.

But i appreciate the effort on your part. Thanks or manana ? im sorry im still trying to learn pashto here lol

I totally understand your stance. You don't apologise for the effort you make towards something good. You are a fast learner. Keep it up. And yes, both work and mean the same thing, but you don't need to thank me. =)
