Which can be more accurately described as an Assault against the Weak and Vulnerable?
Scimitarxedge, why don't you give us your opinion first.
For starters, what kind of government would you like to have in the motherland(Afghanistan)?
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
o my God!! plagiarism!
dude you just stole toranmana's thread.
it's not a competition. they are both assaults against the weak and vulnerable.
Of course it's not a competition; it's a demonstration of priorities and assessment of what's Genuine vs. what's exaggerated and warped for political agendas.
One of them an actual crime is being done; the other we have no idea until we know the full details behind the event as to what's being done.

I would like to see a Rationalist Islamic System based on the principles of Sayyid Jamaluddin Al-Afghani and the examples Abbasiyah Khilafah instituted on all lands primarily Muslim inhabited lands. Being Ruled by the Mu'tazilah School of thought, which is neither Sunni nor Shi'a but is based on a neutral tradition of the Ahl Al-Tawhid wal-'Adl. Where legal ideas and legislation must pass the test of logic and practical necessity. Where Legal Scholars are required to be Literate in multitude of academic subjects such was the case of the Muslim "Golden Age".
where there is a unified economic block which is mutually interdependent and not dependent on Europe or North America; which is Ecologically and Environmentally sound while simultaneously promotes the participation of Males and Females in society and providing for the health and resources needs of the people, without extreme technocracy, and has strong cooperative relations with China and India as a counter balance against Europe and North America.

Interesting.
Thanks for clarifying your stance. So I assume you don't believe in borders either?

I believe that there can be borders; but for example Afghanistan can still "exist" but instead of "Watan Afghanistan" or "Watan Pashtoonistan" it will be Walayat Pashtoonistan etc etc etc.
Leaders will be ratified from a Central Assembly in a completely Neutral Location; there will be no ethnic hierarchy. Only requirements should be the person should be a Noble Muslim, strong educational background in the sense of showing strong competence in a field. Strong Leadership skills. Leaders will be elected based on their Social Merit, how much they have made defacto improvements to the well being of the people.
And although Toramana and Mazloomyar will probably jump all over this and use this for their own twisted game and say "Oh look see seee he's trying to make us Arabized"
I believe that Formal Arabic should be the Linga Franca of the Dawlah, for trade and commerce between States, but Every Walayat can have it's regional language so long as people are competent in the Linga Franca of the Dawlah.
I like much of this, such as: " Legal Scholars are required to be Literate in multitude of academic subjects such was the case of the Muslim "Golden Age".
It seems that people interested in this type of polity should delve in the Archives and unearth more details too, of how such a system would be set up.
Though I'm unsure about Arabic as lingua franca
Too many people don't know it in the Muslim world.
Maybe Arabic - Persian - Turkish...and Pashto of course could all be joint languages of communication?
I do realize that some people will jump around and say "why is Arabic linga franca, why not Pashto????"
but the fact is ALMOST Everyone in the Muslim world has some level of Arabic Knowledge, whether a few words and phrases and sentences to being experts.
Not everyone knows Pashto, not even all people who are Pashtoon know Pashto even a word of it, as I have experienced in some places of Afghanistan or even Pakistan.
I think that's a practical measure of what linga franca should be.

EXACTLY!
you hit the nail right on the head!
This is what it is really about- the economy. And right now around the globe the financial system is pegged to the dollar by means of which the US asserts it's hegemony on the rest of the globe. Most of the world governments are indebt to their necks to the IMF and its in this way that poor of the world are exploited by their own governments. The last thing they want to see an economic system that is NOT hooked up to the global system which is chocking on it's greed ...and usury.
By setting up a truly islamic economy the regions would become free tyranny.
What matters in the end is not what some colonized/westernized deluded ahmad or mahmood thinks but what the people in general want:
In a 2007 University of Maryland poll (PDF), more than 60 percent of the populations in Egypt, Morocco, Pakistan, and Indonesia responded that democracy was a good way to govern their respective countries, while at the same time, an average of 71 percent agreed with requiring "strict application of [sharia] law in every Islamic country
The problem is that most Islamic countries today lack 'rational' and employ rules that make no sense at all. They pass ridiculous laws in order to protect their sense of national identity...for example in most Gulf countries you cannot become a citizen no matter if even you are born there. But if the rules of Islam are employed like the Prophet peace be upon him intended it, then anyone who speaks arabic would be considered an arab, and not a saudi or qatari or this, that. Most of the ulama that work for these corrupt governments have no understanding of the implication and impact of technology on the lives of people. For example in Saudi arabia women aren't allowed to drive. Which is preposterous and totally unrelated to Islam. Cars are extension of our legs, like we used donkeys and camels before, if Allah wanted that women should not move around freely He wouldn't have given them legs! And never did The Prophet peace be upon him prohibit women from riding animals...even The Prophet's wives rode camels. And the other half of the leaders of the Islamic world are all a bunch of westernized patsies. They can't think anything outside the box so everything they interpret in their own world is through the lens of the west. They are totally disconnected from the masses, the peasants, the illiterates and can only feel that they are superior and know whats best because of their " western education".

Not to mention that the Quran is in Arabic. And if people would have to know their rights and their freedoms then they ought to know Arabic.
If all the Muslims in the world knew what was in the Quran we wouldn't be in the mess that we are in now.
I actually believe in establishing an international public transport system to reduce dependence on cars and over use of fossil fuels.
There are a wide array of systems in development for this.
I'll look for the link later... but I remember seeing on television that a group of scientists ( I believe from MIT) were working on a road system that was build on a special type of glass that would take up energy from the sun and power the vehicles that moved on it!
The possibilities are endless. But of course BIG corporations won't allow for such things that aren't "profitable".
