Obama Jokes about Killing People via Drones

At Saturday night's White House Correspondence Dinner, President Obama delivered some very funny lines (written by others), but about 10 jokes in he jokes about killing people via drones.

He mentions that some hot teenage music group was at the dinner. He then mentions that his daughters were big fans, but warns the group to stay away and tells them he has drones. They sneak up on you, he says.

Now, if I am actually killing people (and sometimes hitting innocents) with drones, I would think basic decency would prevent me from joking about drones on a nationally broadcast event.

As a matter of fact, I can't see how you could ever joke about drones, if you really take seriously the fact that you put killer drones in the air to kill people.

Does this President have any clue as to how serious the use of drones is

I'd actually find this a bit funny if it wasn't coming from someone who orders the use of drones to kill people. Obama ain't no progressive, he's just as right wing and war mongering as Bush.

The drones are a big blessing in disguise to kill the Pakistani state sponsored terrorists in the tribal area.The probability of the colateral damage is very low.It is the propaganda of the Pakistani tv channels to show that the drone attacks are killing innocent because these sold outs are pro-establishment which do not want the US to kill their strategic assets.FATA has been used since long times against Afghanistan to ensure strategic depth agaisnt India and to destabilise Afghanistan so ISI can dictate their own policies.The more religeous you guys become in Afghanistan and the more you have ethnic divide the more you will be enslaved by the Punjabi establishment and ISI.

You should know that a sparrow cannot fly in FATA without the knowledge of PA who is the representative and bootlicker of military in most of the cases. How can you expect that a full fledged army of terrorists would be without pakistani state sponsorship.
