Governor’s attacked while holding meeting, 10 killed or wounded

LAGHMAN, Dec. 18 – On Saturday, Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate carried out heavy and small arms attack on the large gather being held by the provincial governor and other puppet official along Kabul-Jalalabad road in Qarghayee district of Laghman at around 11:00 am, local time. According to the report from the area, the crowd was dispersed with killing five puppets and wounding another 5 during the attack.

HELMAND, Dec. 18 – At least 4 American invaders were killed and 4 others seriously wounded in Gerishk’s Nahr Siraj area in a 3 hour firefight with Mujahideen at 12:00 pm yesterday. Mujahideen say that the cowardly invaders fled the area after suffering fatal casualties and Mujahideen seized their left equipment. 1 Mujahid was also injured in the encounter.

HELMAND, Dec. 18 – Mujahideen from Nawa district say that at 12:00 pm a NATO logistical vehicle was destroyed after catching fire from an attack in Sarkhandz Durahi area.
Similarly a puppets vehicle was blown apart by a roadside bomb at 03:00 pm in the district’s Fazaluddin Durahi area. 3 puppets inside were killed and 4 others severely wounded.

The report adds soon after the fighting all the traffic movement was halted to evacuate the dead and wounded from the site.

Even the mainstream news had an article Sunday about Taliban attacks in Kunduz; let's compare the report tomorrow with their numbers.
I bet NATO has minimized all their losses.
It's readable through the lines of the new reports, especially after one reads these which provide another side to the story.

It is going to be something along the lines of:

"1 American soldier dead, 20 ANA soldiers dead, 300 Taliban dead".

It is funny, they estimated that there were no more than 17,000 Taliban fighters in Afghanistan. The number of Taliban they have declared dead surpasses that figure.

I didn't know the 17,000 figure but of course that is touched up too, for Western public consumption, no doubt.

IF estimates were 88,000 Taliban, Americans would say, "Forget it,give it up".
But with only a manageable 17,000, they wearily figure, well, OK, stay over there and polish off this small number, shouldn't take that much longer."

Is there any idea exactly how many Taliban US forces have declared killed in action?

The other laugh is the Western estimates of 'Al-Qaida miiltants' SUPPOSEDLY done away with.

Hundreds of reports have claimed what would total a vast number of "high-ranking lieutenants of Osama bin Laden", with scads of other "mid-level operatives" supposedly dispatched by the 'brave American drone attacks'.

When few really believe there are more than a couple hundred in the Tribal Areas, at the very peak.

Those killed, sadly, are usually chowkidars and commonplace workers. Hardly the villains of international intrigue they are purported to have been !

When will those NATO military spokesmen realize that the rest of the world is sharp enough to perform simple addition and subtraction operations ?!

These don't even require a basic calculator, let alone the laser-guided super-electronic variety that the Pentagon no doubt resorts to for its statistics !

^ I NEVER have believed ANY of the Western reports.

Whereas the Taliban sound sincere and ring true, more or less.
Maybe a tad bit of exaggeration too.
But not like the American ones which are an insult to everyone's intelligence !

I always laugh at the descriptions given, such as "4 puppets were captured" : it strikes me as so funny.

The Isl. Emirate people express themselves so confidently too.
One can see they are sure of themselves and sure of their cause.

On the other side there is one term applicable for the whole endeavor;
COVER-UP of Truth.
