i have read that science postulates that the big bang came from nothing. that is the nothing i am asking about.
I have never seen a scientist say there was anything supernatural about 'nothing'.

the question was..how do YOU think the universe and the human thinking mind came into being?
Again, those two things are unrelated, other then very tangentially.

it's interesting that an educated scientist can get so confused by such simple questions and finds them complicated.
I would not say you are 'educated' or a 'scientist', but you are clearly confused by these questions, especially if you think they are 'simple'.

    • i will give it one more try, since you are still making an excuses, to not answer. i will make the question even simpler for you. now concentrate.

      what created the big bang?

since you don't believe in a god/creator, i would imagine you have another theory about the origin of creation.

Interesting, this is yet *another*, *different* question.

since you don't believe in a god/creator, i would imagine you have another theory about the origin of creation.
I don't personally have a theory -- I'm not a theoretical physicist, or an astronomer. My field lies in other areas, and even the experts don't have a great understanding of the pre-big bang universe. While they may not have a clear picture -- they are working that way, despite the limitations you run into *during* the big bang, where classical physics fall apart.

Many believe that the big bang simply did not need a creator or creation and just was. Others think that it was a result of a big-crunch, others think it is a result of super-string vibrations. I admit that I have not kept up on the modern research in this field in detail.

As for a god/creator -- that guess falls apart quite easily -- it just needlessly adds complication, confusion, increase the complexity, and yet answers none of the questions.

        • interesting that you have no base from which to be assuming and telling others that their beliefs about god and the origin of creation, are not valid.

well, that supposed 'guess,' about god/creator cannot fall apart any more than any other 'guess'.
since there is no proof of any other valid creator, other than the 'magic' of the big bang from nothing, it is just as valid as any other 'guess,' until proven otherwise.

why does the idea of an intelligent creator confuse you more than any other idea about the origin of everything?

you claim to not have any set idea about origin of creation yet you are claiming that mind developed 'inside the universe'.
therefore it is an aspect of the origin and evolution.
from what i have read, our thinking mind even appears to be what scientists consider, the 'icing on the cake', to their theory of evolution.

if the theory of a hologram universe is true, there may not even be an inside or an outside to the universe, from what i have read about it.

Nor is there need of a 'creator'...

Not true at all. Logic holds that absent additional information, the simplest solution is the most likely. Adding a god into the equation does not answer any questions, or reduce the complexity -- and actually adds new questions and makes the issue far more complex.

I'm not confused, despite you constantly pretending I am.

You are spouting gibberish again. The 'origin of creation' and the 'origin of intelligent life' are *very* different topics. You are mangling the two into a single topic, and getting yourself confused.

The origin of the universe and evolution are different topics. You cannot mash them into a single topic like this -- it just doesn't make sense.

And here you go mis-using terms with multiple definitions again -- exactly as I said you would do when I refused to answer your questions earlier.

                      try to be versatile.

if an intelligent creator manifested everything, then intelligence is the basis of everything.

if the scientific origin, nothing... to the big bang... to the intelligent thinking mind, is the story of creation, then it is obviously, a continuum.

so, it is not me who 'mangled' the two into a single topic, blame that on the creator.

depends what YOU mean by reality. i have my reality, which includes, my dreams, fantasies, hallucinations, telepathy, precognitive dreams, premonitions, intuitions and more. you have yours, and every other entity has theirs.
together, they form one reality, one might say.
that is only in this realm.

then again if it is only a figment of our imagination, then there may be NO 'reality' and all is an illusion.

No, because you are taking two separate topics and pretending like they are the same topic, which makes your questions meaningless.

if an intelligent creator manifested everything, then intelligence is the basis of everything.
Clearly an intelligent creator cannot create everything. It cannot create itself.

Anyway, look at those goal posts FLY! You were *not* talking about a 'creator intelligence', you asked *specifically* about the *human* mind.

What creator? You have yet to provide evidence for a creator. You are rambling, and stringing random things together in an effort to appear intelligent, and failing horribly.

The rise of intelligent live is *not* an intrinsic topic when discussing the origin of the universe. They are so distantly related that it is silly to even discuss them as one thing.
