Everytime we Brush our teeth with toothpaste and it makes our teeth whiter, we show that Chemistry works. Everytime we drive a car, and the sound from other cars change pitch or frequency, we experience the Doppler Shift. So we know what scientists say is legit NOT because they say so, but because the eviddence accurately describes what's around us

In Logic .....proving things is a POSITIVE cliam, meaning that to prove the existence something, you have to demonstrate ITS presence, not its lack of presence.

The reason that is because to prove something doesn't exist, all one needs to show that it is not there, and if it isn't. Then your proof is done. BUT Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. So that would be a bit superficial. SO therefore it is those who make a POSITIVE claim "something exists" that have to demonstrate evidence according to Logic.

For example if a Microbiologist said there are no more E-coli in this petri dish he, all he has to do is say "well I don't see any there". So therefore its the job for the other microbiologist who says "no there is E-Coli in the petri dish" to show he's wrong.
