You can't really believe that, can you? Ethics and morals do *not* require religion. All it takes is logic, and/or compassion to build a system of morals.

Quite the opposite. The religious find it far easier to be evil and immoral, since they feel they will be rewarded in the afterlife. Not many atheist suicide bombers...

But that's not what happens when science advances. When science advances, the new theories still have to explain the old evidence.

Why would I need his support? I'm doing quite well on my own -- and I have your foolish comments to thank for some of that. If you actually understood what science was, and were able to discuss it rationally, it would be one thing. Currently your biggest problem with science is that you have no clue what it is.

A misunderstanding! Please, go back and read a few of my posts. I have stated several times that religion and science can live together, and that it is impossible to prove that gods do not exist. I think I may have been lumped into your pre-existing opinion of atheists and scientists, here.
