      Unhiddentruth:

Your words in this thread have brought a smile to my face. I sit here, trying to gather words to formulate a response to you, but I am not able to. May your days to come be blessed ones. As for videos, I will send some your way. I hope they are of benefit to you.

I thought I'd share a few words, for others though, in general. Although the upbringing and customs we are exposed to have an affect on our state of mind and actions, every individual has an inborn inclination to worship and seek the pleasure of his Creator. Undoubtedly at one point in our lives, we all come to question our existence, and then, the individual begins to recognise the signs that are shown to him, physically or spiritually. Seek these signs and respond to them as they too are a response to your call and desires of recognising the path you should walk. Take those steps carefully and be mindful of the rocky tract that is bound to come your way, as this life is merely a series of trials set out for men of understanding.

Wrayun, this is not something you should take lightly. Bless you Brother.

Woah. Take it easy there akhi, you know that the acceptance of Islam negates all previous sins Aside from an accepted Hajj, this is the only other way to fully be forgiven for sins. Have faith and be grateful to Allah (swt) for this, there is no reason to feel suicidal as you have done something good, have you not?

And yeah, that lecture I just posted up should help you out alot aswell

There is no room for embarrassment. In fact, you have been among those whom Allah has chose to bring back to His guidance. This is a new beginning for you. Life is sacred to Allah and so are you. Allah is The Most Forgiving. Allah says:
I am to My servant according to his thought concerning Me; when he remembers Me, I am with him; when he remembers Me to himself, I remember him to Myself; when he mentions Me among a group, I mention him in a better group. If he comes toward Me one span, I come toward him an arm's length; if he comes toward Me one arm's length, I come toward him one step; if he walks towards Me, I run towards him.

My brother, I could not believe my eyes when I read your thread.

Dear brother, irrespective of our beliefs, we are all the spiritual foot soldiers of Hadhrat Muhammad (saw).

Dearest unhiddentruth, for your sake, I will be around more often now. Please let me know if you ever need any help with anything. If you have any questions you want answered or if you need someone to talk to when you are down; I will be all ears and I will stand beside you.

For me nothing matters more than someone accepting the Oneness of Allah and accepting that Hadhrat Muhammad (saw) brought the final Law. You, my brother, are now part of my spiritual family. Please don't hesitate to ask if you need anything. Please.

Dear brother, your words I don’t' remember. Wallahi, I don't. But I can tell you one thing; I have seen much worst from Muslims face to face.

All I care about is for people to worship Allah, the One, and use His beloved Messenger, Hadhrat Muhammad (saw), as an example to reach Him. My brother, I have vowed to stay on for your sake. Allah is my witness. Please, please, I beg to you to never hesitate to ask me when you need something.

Don't worry about the past. Worry about today. From now on, remember that Allah is One, don't associate any partners with Him. Be careful of subtle associations. Insha Allah, in due time we will help each other to grow in our faith. I am going to need your help also in order to increase my faith. As we speak you have elevated me. I am in tears. My body is in ecstasy.

Just walk slowly and leave the past. One of Allah’s attributes is, though not mentioned, is Al Sattaar, He who covers faults. My brother, leave the past for Him to conceal. Just look forward and grow in your spirituality.

May Allah grant you paradise on earth and in the Hereafter!

MashAllah, what an amazing thread. Welcome back Unhiddentruth. If you have any other questions, do ask.

                  Wrayun,
God bless you. Something for you to actually be proud about.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Your guilt is natural Brother, no human lives without guilt or regret in their heart. It is part of our lives, part of our nature. Allah's Glorious speech in Surah Ra'ad reminds us: ala bi dhikrillahi tatmainnul quloob which can be translated as, the hearts find rest, peace and contentment in Allah's remembrance. Understanding this ayah can be taken a step further to mean, nothing, save Allah's remembrance, can put the heart at peace. Allah alleviate all your burdens and obstacles in this life and illuminate the path you walk, eliminating every darkness, and give you a life of understanding, love, and closeness to the Creator of the heavens and the earth.

You see brother, the fact that you have this feeling means that you are doing something right.

You see, my beloved brother, if you steal and feel good about it then it means that there is something serioulsly wrong with you. If you lie and feel good about it then it means that there is something wrong with you. If you can venture you life thinking that no one created you and you came from nothing, then there is something seriously wrong with you. The fact that you feel bad about the past is a good indication.

My dearest brother, Allah mentions that a believers is always in state of fear; and he who fears that status of his Creator there are two paradises, one here and the other in the Hereafter.

My brother, if you feel guilty then you have to keep saying istaghfaar, and as my beloved sister mentioned, keep remembering Allah.

My brother, you worries will only go away when you make your daily qiblah Allah Jalla Shanuhu. Allah mentions in the Quran that he who submits his entire being to Allah and does good deeds Allah will make sure that he does not fear the uncertainty and never grieve.

As a Muslim, my dearest brother, you have to now educate yourself, it is a must. You have to take care of Allah's creation. Make sure you are merciful towards your parents and relatives. Moreover, you have to live peacefully in your society, as much as you might hate their unIslamic ways.

The above is part of the formula for Allah to slowly bring peace and contentment your precious heart.

Assalamu `Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu

Allaaaaaaaaaaaahu Akbar!!!!!! This made my day!

I spent some of my day today defending this beautiful religion both against Muslims and non-Muslims, and to be honest, I was a little down but after reading this I felt as if Allah was telling me to cheer up because after someone becomes misguided, Allah undoubtedly replaces him with someone better. And be confident that Allah ta`ala has chosen you to be that someone better.

Although we have never met, I hope that Allah uses me in assisting you in good in any way possible and vice versa. As for you feeling guilty about your past, be sure that this is nothing but the whisperings of the accursed Shaytan himself. You have just accomplished the greatest act a human being can do, and that is bring `iman. At this point, Shaytan tries his hardest because he feels that you are still vulnerable and susceptible to his weak plots. Know, that the moment you recited the kalimah-i-tayyibah all of your previous sins, be it hidden or open, major or minor, known or unknown to you, they have all been forgiven. This is the truth and a promise from our beloved Nabi (saw). Therefore, you have absolutely nothing to worry about insha'Allah. And even if you feel bad about offending others, Allah has put mercy in their hearts towards you and they feel nothing but the utmost love for you. Please keep me, Asif, and all other PF members in your du`as as you are much purer than us and your du`a will be accepted insha'Allah.

As for brother Wrayun and those Allah (swt) used to guide our brother, mubarak di sa and remember this is better for you than red camels. And you know red camels don't come easy.

Here is a video that I found very beneficial and insha'Allah you will too:

The Beloved Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, so beautifully advised his nation when he said:

“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day let him speak good or remain silent.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

                            This is AMAZING!

I well remember the thread where unhiddentruth said he has lost his faith and some were encouraging him to regain it.

He sounded so skeptical in response.

What a miracle this is !

I think Shkapur_Dorwaza hit the nail on the head that
the feelings of guilt are from demons who are angry that
unhiddentruth is not hidden from the truth any longer !

Why not after a breather, go through the videos in this Religion section posted over the last few months by Maiwand?

You won't feel guilty at all then when seeing the really big picture of the overarching struggle betweeen Good and Evil which puts into perspective all more minor problems facing individuals.

You could also get a cat to ward off depression.
Depression is ALWAYS caused by demons.

Demons can't get near you when cats are around. Demons are afraid of their sharp eyes, claws and teeth...REALLY, trust me !
As you say you are busy, cats need minimal attention.
But they silently protect your living space.

The thread title seems to suggest that someone new has come to Islam, but nonetheless, faith is exactly that ... it's about discovery and conviction. Knowing that helps because faith is tested and we experience peaks of troughs.

The words of Allah and the serenity of the Islam are invaluable when we are tested. Of course, positive, pragmatic and responsible people with a sense of kindness, humour and gentleness around you help when we are torn between different demands.

To Be a Muslim ... my thoughts ... ... musings from a distance ...: To Be a Muslim
