A Question for those knowledged in Islam

As I child, i use to go to Islamic School

And i always wondered by was I taught that Arabs were the first to discover Judaism and Christianity and then Islam, I also heard stories about that followers of Judaism were Muslims, Followers of Christainity were Muslims and so on.

I feel abit strange, because doesnt it seem weird that the word of Islam came way after the other two faiths before it? I mean, its just like somebody invented the theory of gravity in 2010, but then say that the real inventor was his uncle

So can the respected members here clarify this for me please

Islam has existed since day one; all the Prophets, Adam, Jesus, Moses and Muhammad (Peace be upon them all), were all Muslims. They all delivered the same message, except their people went astray, apart from the followers of Muhammad (PBUH).

It doesn't matter what they were referred to, it's what they believed and followed.

Islam means to submit to Allah. A muslim is the one who enters this in full submission. So a muslim is the one who submits to Allah. A follower of islam is a muslim. This is the lingustical term.

All the prophets [s] and messenger [s] of Allah brought the same message. Which was full submission to Allah. In everything. Worshiping Allah alone. Sacrificing to Allah alone. directing your duas to Allah alone. Ruling a people with the laws of Allah. etc. This is all summed up in the saying, believing and acting of "la ilahah ilAllah". Which is called tawhid.

So the early followers of moses [s] were muslims. As they followed the teachings correctly. But eventually they changed those teachings and left the pure religion.

"Or do you say that Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants were Jews or Christians? Say, "Are you more knowing or is Allah ?" And who is more unjust than one who conceals a testimony he has from Allah ? And Allah is not unaware of what you do." - albaqarah 140.

Same with the christians. The followers of jesus [s] were muslims. Until they too left what he [s] brought. And they changed his [s] teachings.

"But when Jesus felt disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for the cause of Allah ?" The disciples said," We are supporters for Allah . We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims." - aalimran 142

And many people claim that abraham was a jew or a christian. An that all of us follow the "abrahamic faith". This is not true. Since Allah says,

"Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a Muslim hanif. And he was not of the polytheists." - aalimran 67

Hence, islam was the message from the beginning. And it is not an arab thing.

Of course its a Arab thing, Jews and Arabs have been competiting for who is holiest for a very long time.

Also if relgions were discovered before Islam then how can you claim they were discovered by Muslims? Isnt this fabricating History?

No it is not. Jews were the chosen people until they went astray. They became cursed. Jews came from the son of abraham, isaac. From him came the 12 tribes of israel. And there were many prophets before abraham. Before even when the arabs and jews existed.

And jews are not really a race. It is a person who follows judaism. Most jews today have no connection to the israelites anyways. But thi sis another discussion.

Like it says in the quran. There was a prophet [s] sent to every people. Long before prophet muhammad [s] and even before abraham [s]. And they all had the same message. That is "la ilaha ilAllah"

But if it was named Islam, then why do they have names such as JUdaism and Christianity? I am just anxious to know that why claim something that was already discovered.
