Unknown what I meant by the US being a hegemonic state, was that in regards to social hegemony. In which the ruling class has the most amount of power and they decide on what to do with it. So, while yes China is economically better than other Nations right now and the US owes them 800 billions dollars, at the end of it all, it comes down to what the ruling classes want. We can deny that does classes might not exist so much now as they did before, but to be frank they do. You have a set of people that want to protect their own wealth and add more to it. So having to kill what a hundreds of thousands of people is not going to stop them from achieving that goal. While the US owes other Nations money, they are still going out and getting more resources out of those countries to pay the nations they owe off. It's basically a sick version of survival of the fittest group of people and nations. It's all business. Any ruling country or class knows that any day, they can be out-casted and in order to survive they must have money and power.

"Do not lose hope in adversity and complain that God singled you out for punishment, remitting others guilty of worse sins. Your present state could very well be His intent to elevate your spiritual station. Or He could just be testing your faith. Everyday that you persevere, you grow closer to perfection. Thus, your present despair may be the beginning of an infinite blessing". - Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani.

It's too bad that more people in the Western countries are not able to see what the guy in the first video says.
It's too bad that more people in the Islamic world can not grasp the obvious and simple truth explained in the second, 2 minute video !
Both are realistic and basic logic.
This shows how befuddled huge numbers of people are today who won't budge out of the comfortable armchair of Mass Opinion.
Why should someone who suggests something original and can see clearly some of fallacies in the logic of the rulers of the East be the target of a worldwide campaign to defame him?
I glanced briefly at one article which took care to describe Al-Awlaki as looking like a
"nerdy accountant". What a putdown. Of course this is to distract from his dignified appearance as a scholar.
Likely, these officials hope by ridiculing their foe, to make his own followers doubt him and disperse. Or even give his location away.
Yet, this Sheikh is a rousing, effective orator.
Anything BUT nerdy.
Al-Awlaki was labeled charismatic too. But to Americans, that could perhaps call to mind Charismatic Christians who have really weird practices.
They "talk in tongues" which in reality means that bizarre voices of the Devil come through them.
Not a savory connection for Americans, therefore.
