Osama bin laden himself quoted this very surrah, it openly states who to befriend and who not to, it also labels all pagans as fair game, and dissolves the previous pact of not killing them(a limited pact with only one small group). Their only option is to accept islam or be exploited in Darul Islam.Originally posted by 3.14159265... View PostHave you read that Surah Baygham?
It does not say to kill Jews, Murtads and Pagans indiscriminately.
unknownprince, you are judging without cause.
Honestly lets make this surrah as the law of the land in Afghanistan, and lets run some real world 21st century scenarios.
Lets start with the status of the 'thor kafar' up north, what should be their status. We will come to the murtadeen second.

*I knew it*@ the last part of your post.
Lolz....One was enough (in your case).Plus I am not a big fan of spoon-feeding. So go to PUBMED and download all gazillion articles.Meh, evict that Gualichu from your brain the next next time you see plaque on your skin *wink*
I don't need you you to spoon feed me on anythin!wow, pubmed, the most overused source by anyone entering the scientific or medical profession. Still doesn't prove anything. And I just wrote an article on Alzheimers for a class, so nothing you said was novel in any way. You just googled it, and sputtered all the info here. People pubmed get outdated info (you do know that right??) they put the articles there once it has already been accepted and published in a magazine. New stuff is only available to researchers, not to pubmed users such as yourself
The same old problem with all you atheisst, you somehow think you possess some higher intelligence, but in reality everything you say is pretty much well-known, and does not prove anything in terms of disproving Allah(swt)!!
See, there is no way you can disprove it, so you are all pent up with anger!!!! Plaque on my skin wink!!! I don't get it!!! Galuchi, evil spirit, did you google that, or your learning it some stupid class your taking!!!! No one cares that your an atheist, so please don't use that again in any debate.Last edited by Guest; 11-13-2010, 03:30 PM.

Pubmed is a widely known source of scientific articles used mainly by people who have not much background in science. The journal databases I use in my research are only accessed by Professionals like the Doctor I research with.Originally posted by Baygham View PostShow us some authentic Quranic sources, what is this pubmed wabmed jumbo, they did not teach us that stuff in madrassa and secondly listening to kufar or using their resources is kufar.
The alzheimers info which was presented by gulalai was very basic and unimpressive. I wrote an article for a class that mentions all the latest research in the subject (one that specifically talks about a specific protein subunit involved in Alzheimers), and none of it was present in her so-called up to date latest research!!!!! LOL, Im just pointing out how unintelligent you atheists really are, and also in the future be careful to assume that no one can catch your flawed presentation of information here. The plaque and tangle idea has been known for sometime!!! Nothing new there!!!Last edited by Guest; 11-13-2010, 03:41 PM.

lol I can't believe you atheists. And again, no one here cares that your atheist, get over yourself. It doesn't matter.

Implying that Osama is a representative of Muslims is a strawman.Originally posted by Baygham View PostOsama bin laden himself quoted this very surrah, it openly states who to befriend and who not to, it also labels all pagans as fair game, and dissolves the previous pact of not killing them(a limited pact with only one small group). I don't like the rules of political Islam, or any other political ideology. Let's not succumb to strawmen though.
uknownprince,
Do you feel Islam is under attack by Muslim apostates?
Do you think they feel threatened by your ideologies?
In the case that you think the feelings are mutual, how can we resolve this issue?

That sounds conciliatory of you, Pi.
Way to go, Unknown!
I see your debate experience at work here in the successful demolishing of -gulalai's presentation of which she was so confident to be The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing BUT The Truth of Alzheimer's !
I'm sure she means well.
But the fact is that FACTS do NOT rule creation, God does.
So all the questions of neurophysiology if that's the right term are not important compared with the supposition that it's Allah who makes all the genes, all the neurons, all the nervous pathways to act in a certain way, based upon what that SOUL is all about.
My argument is that not one cell acts in a certain way by chance. If a cell becomes abnormal, God has ordained this on a higher level and the cells must obey. The cells conform also to the character of the person.
A certain personality will attract the combinations of cell mutations or whatever it takes to manifest a very specific disease. Another type will pull in a different illness, either mental or physical.
It is still very useful to research on the neurological plane. BUT: keeping in mind that there is the divine Intelligence which has rearranged atoms, cells and molecules according to the Will of God.
Now you atheists can laugh away, as I'm sure this will be fodder for your entertainment for the weekend !

Actually you are wrong once again.PUBMED is an online repository of all publications in the biomedical fields and is updated every single second. All e-journals of biomedical sciences are connected to PUBMED.Furthermore, other databases like MEDLINE are also also connected to PUBMED.PUBMED database is maintained by NCBI which maintains many other databases such as OMIM, Entrez, Genome, etc. You have no idea how ignorant you are about PUBMED. The articles that appear in PUBMED are published in different journals but because all journals are connected to PUBMED, they could be accessed on one single platform. Your notion about the availability of new information on research available to only researchers in the field is utterly wrong. A sub-branch of pubmed, called Pubmed Central (PMC), has all the free articles.Originally posted by unknownprince View PostI don't need you you to spoon feed me on anythin!wow, pubmed, the most overused source by anyone entering the scientific or medical profession. So when Nature Science accepts a new article, it appears in PUBMED the moment it is assigned DOI in Nature Science. The print issue of the article comes weeks later. This was the reason that the scientific community decided to make an Online platform for all articles since the print issues take time.
Great that you wrote a paper on Alzheimer's disease.I hope you have written the term correctly as Alzheimer's disease, not "Alzheimers".
Wrong. Once again, it is used by those who are scientists and healthcare professionals. The reason is that the articles of every e-journal could be easily accessed on a single platform than to be browsing in every single journal.Plus if you modify the search terms to "author's name", you can find all articles of that author, rather than searching them individually in hundreds different journals.Originally posted by unknownprince View PostPubmed is a widely known source of scientific articles used mainly by people who have not much background in science. LOL!!!I think you have no idea what you are saying. You said that plaques and tangles are outdated information and that there is a protein which in involved in AD.We both are right actually. You know why? Because plaques are formed by the misfolded protein APP (the amyloid precursor protein) and tangles are formed by hyperphosporylated tau proteins.Originally posted by unknownprince View PostThe alzheimers info which was presented by gulalai was very basic and unimpressive. Ever heard this saying-A little knowledge is a dangerous thing :D
But...but...you are yet to refute the present scientific body of knowledge-existing truth-about AD with your argument of demons being the culprits. And I am still very confident about the existing truth, especially after Unknownprince has agreed to it both in theory and practice. Yes, gulalai, I knew that plaques and tangles were formed by proteins. What I was saying, is that current research is focused on the sub-units of the proteins that make plaques. They are more focused on that. Yes, I heard that saying about knowledge, but I think you may have only heard it today
jk jk, please don't take that wrongly, Im just joking, you seem to know your stuff!!!
pubmed, not true. pubmed is used by people as a reference source. People use it, but there a ton of other databases where better selective information is available.
No really, the plaque and tangle idea is outdated if you consider how fast science moves. Have you heard that some speculate that the amyloid beta precursor protein actually contributes in a good way? Hence, the confusion around the issue. Also, it must be emphasized that there still is no clear explanation for Alzheimers. Unlike you who wants to appear smart all the time, I am not concerned with my grammar too much. I rush when I type and I don't take my time to look at every single word( like you) before I hit submit.
LOL, pubmed mainly gives abstracts for the present reader, and many of their articles lead you to expired links. Anyways, please publish a few of the complete articles. I can only access patient and article databases at the doctors clinic, but it seems like you have immediate access to databases. Enlighten us please with a few articles on Alzheimers since you know so much about it.
You atheists use science all the time to prove your lousy arguments, but you forget that the foundations of science and mathematics were heavily influenced by Muslim Arabs, not atheists!!!! All atheists have ever done was pretend that the world cared that they were atheist. They live with these delusions of persecution that don't exist. To demolish all your (LZ, Dust, and all the other atheists) arguments against Allah(swt), all I need to do is quote Bucaille ( now your probably going to go and google that!! ) Quick, get at it!!!!Last edited by Guest; 11-13-2010, 07:03 PM.

What ground shattering work have you done in servitude of your doctor with professional journal access, that is so ground breaking. Every college student in USA has access to professional journals (full text) through their library and as far as I know there are hundreds just in New york. I have access to hundreds of full text journals through ovid, mdconsult, and other such sites. I can have any journal article or book acquired through inter library loan.Originally posted by unknownprince View PostPubmed is a widely known source of scientific articles used mainly by people who have not much background in science. The more you try to pose that you know about it, the more it becomes obvious that you know a little. Your discussion with Catya in the separate thread of AD under Health section pretty much shows how much you know about it. In scientific parlance, we call them plaques formed by misfolded peptides. We hardly say a "subunit of protein" leads to the AD. The reason is that this is very misleading. Why? A single misfolded protein does not cause AD.It is the clustering of misfolded peptides that would damage the neurons.Hence your notion that the ENTIRE RESEARCH is focused on one subunit is not only misleading but also very uninformative and incorrect. Also, if a reductionist approach is to be followed, I will go further beyond the plaques/proteins to the <amino acids<mRNA <chromosome< linkage unit< gene<exons<introns< ORF <codons<and finally to A, T, G, C. That is why I like science.Originally posted by unknownprince View PostYes, gulalai, I knew that plaques and tangles were formed by proteins. You can scream as much as you want to.You can lie as much as you want to.You can stay in the chronic state of delusion as much as you want to..even forever.BUT that does not change facts-and facts is what matters the most.Period.Originally posted by unknownprince View Postpubmed, not true. pubmed is used by people as a reference source. Not just AD, but in science nothing is absolute and that is the magic of science. We improve our knowledge as we develop new techniques and get more information. We know more about the human genes today than what we knew last century when Gregor Mendel defined them as "units of inheritance" and Morgan assigned them to "chromosomes".AD is not a different than any flu virus that keeps on surprising us every time we think we have controlled it...at last! However, saying that we don't know anything about AD or flu is absolutely wrong. Confusion in science is extremely good since only then can we challenge and improve.Hence we don't mind if tomorrow rather than plaques, p53 tumor suppressor is the causative agent. Similarly, saying that it is an attention-seeking stuff (as you and Catya viewed it before) and that it could be due to demons is absolutely wrong.Originally posted by unknownprince View PostNo really, the plaque and tangle idea is outdated if you consider how fast science moves. I don't think one can "appear to be" smart. Take your example: You mentioned some protein subunit and refuted the existence of plaques. You tried to be be all informed about it but you did not realize that you are actually supporting my argument due to the lack of information on the subject. In general, majority are smart in one way or other. My definition of smartness is anyone who can beat a DNA in the amount of information that it retains and transfer in the next CD event-not possible though.
Nope. It does not.The Search page returns the most recent ones.Originally posted by unknownprince View PostLOL, pubmed mainly gives abstracts for the present reader, and many of their articles lead you to expired links.
I think that is a good idea. I would post it in the Education Section. Don't worry, it's not a biggie!Good to know that you have gradually developed your interest in knowing more about the scientific rationale for the disease than demonology.Originally posted by unknownprince View PostAnyways, please publish a few of the complete articles. Catya Sher, I am what I do. Why would I want to be anything but peace?
unknownprince,
You have ignored my questions which were not controversial or aggressive twice now.
This leads me to think that you must love taking part in the Atheist-Theist debate.
This is percisely why I made this thread. That you are selectively taking part in only those conversations that allow you to be loud, shows this is about your ego not God.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I want to ask everyone, including myself, to re-read their posts in this thread. Then to wonder if they made the posts the become closer to God or to reinforce their ego, and push for the dominion of their opinion.

3.14,
Sorry for the digression.
I had no intentions of turning it to a AD/pubmed/who is more informed/atheist-this-and-that/ yadda yadda yadda argument but I just wanted to clear some misconceptions about the role of demons.
Since my posts are completely irrelevant to the subject matter of this thread (not even tried to prove "something" as I was accused off..lolx!), I will prefer not to re-read them :D"O Pakhtuns!, Your house has fallen into ruin, let us rebuild it".
