Yessssssss! OMG! I couldn't agree more, Tor Khana! Especially with the part about it's all according to circumstances.

It's all man-made (should I be using a gender "neutral" term like "people-made" there?) and defence and litigation lawyers line their pockets by getting close to the edge of the law or finding the cracks - using their creative language to do it.
Well, there's use and then there's abuse. Having a right is different from abusing it. Yet, we must also wonder what exactly it means to "abuse" a right, since ... perhaps our response to the practice of a basic human right is more important than the actual practice itself, yes? And we must also keep in mind that if a certain people can't practice something (e.g., saying something negative about Islam in the open), then we, too, shouldn't do the same (e.g., what with our polemical attitude towards all non-Islamic beliefs, particularly Hinduism, the "Arab pagans," and other polytheistic traditions, both ancient and modern). Means to say, if we expect the entire world to be sensitive to OUR beliefs, we should be just as sensitive to theirs.

And lol @ people-made. :p No, "human-made" is more preferable :D But thanks for acknowledging it! Not a lotta people do that, y'know, gosh. It breaks my soul.

A long time ago, I read a somewhere that some feminists (ouch!!! - you and I have had a brush or two over that word! ... ) say that there is a man in human and thus it's a less desirable/gender neutral word.

Personally, I can't win. And in any case it becomes difficult to walk through this world, always on the lookout , without treading on the occasional eggshell ...

Lol, I was also told they don't like the term 'history' because it's 'his-story'.
