As for your questions Sheenkay, Im not sure. Meat from the supermarket is all haram, and they are also filled with hormones.

Calling anyone (Muslim or non-Muslim) sister or brother?? Well, its just a saying. But I think it is not allowed. I mean you can call a non-Muslim girl (who has a clean culture) that, but never a non-Muslim guy.

You are allowed to go to Church if there is no Mosque nearby, and you need to pray somewhere to Allah(swt), but this is the same as going t any other room in a building. You could also go to hotel, and request to pray in the lobby. In general, going to Church to participate in their prayer is not allowed.

Fahd, a purely Islamic state (like the Ottoman Empire) tolerated all religions as long as no practice caused harm to Muslims. This is why so many people liked them.

now a days all this halal and haram mostly for business purposes. if you go an arab store you might pay twice, the same with kosher product, they more expensive. most of the halal resotrans are run by hindo, and sikh as well, they make wonderfull food. sometimes the meat comes same same slaughter house, arabs and pakies would sell it on higher rates, but cheaper in a super market.
Sanagr wror can provide new ayat and hadis regarding yoga, of having friends among non-muslims.

What does him being Ahmadi have to do with anything? Heck, he could even be atheist and still have knowledge about the rulings of Islam that Sheenkay Jaana is inquiring about. Belief has nothing to do with knowledge. I can tell you a lot about the Jewish religion, does that mean I'm Jewish? Or does that mean I don't know anything about Judaism because I don't follow it?

Just because you don't agree with someone's beliefs doesn't mean that every word they say and every statement they make is wrong.

So, how about we take a shot at answering Sheenkay's questions rather than making such a ridiculous fuss about Momin's beliefs? Let's stop dragging this issue into everything.

Going to a Church - depends on your intentions. If you're going for sightseeing, sure. If you're going to participate in their prayer, maybe not so halal.
Meat from the supermarket is probably not slaughtered according to Islamic standards..

afghan u r absulately right its quiet expensive in muslims shops, in norway and denmark ppl buy meat from any supermakets, but in uk we never buy meat from supermakets coz we have more muslims in here

LOL i do yoga sometimes... when i can go to the class
i do it with hijab on, sometimes it gets annoying because it gets all in your face but if you can tuck it then it's okay (:
and usually its all girls, but if there is a boy or two in the class i make sure to be on the other side of the room from them
