Death is lovable for those who believe...

    They long for death,
    to end their last breath.
For death to them is not the end,
but a journey which Allah has planned.

A journey that every man has to go through,
where the deeds are being laid in front of you.
Glowing faces and the blackened ones,
let us hope we are the Abrar ones.

The Abrar are those who long to die,
while others are asleep, they pray and cry.
Death is a step closer to meet thy Lord,
it is the believers who'd die to meet their God.

    Death doesn't make you pessimistic,
in fact it moulds you to be optimistic.
It prepares you to meet your Creator,
You attempt to do good, and miss not every prayer.

All the deeds you do will be for Him,
and not for any other human being.

So when you die, you are already ready,
to meet the One, Allah Almighty.
With your little deeds done with sincerity,
you will enter paradise but with His mercy.

So like I said, death is not the end,
and I'm not pessimistic for it will happen.

    Death is beautiful,
    and death is lovable,
    for those who believe,
    embrace death with no grief.

    See the Holy Quran (83:18-28)(84:6-9)(89:27-30)

Yes, death is the dreaded disease!
Stay alive forever if you insist
    Or even if you resist
    Death will still persist

    Death is grim
But it is just the beginning
    Oh what a wrong timing!
I have my full life to think

Death is lovable for those who believe
That’s the poem that brings relief
    Oh! The unbelievers will grief
Life on earth is just but a brief

The pray is for all Muslims, me and you
The trials and tribulations we gone through
    Even the Prophets too
    Are to differentiate the two?*

    Which group do we belong?
    To meet Allah we longed
    The face illuminates **
For the reward that is ultimate

Or the group that takes death for granted
“Live forever” the slogan they chanted
    There is no second chance
This life is but a trance

    The regret they developed
    Later it will enveloped
The cries to live once more
Is just the remorse in store!

So let us realize the “Beauty of Death”
In prayer, there must not be a theft***
If you fully understand the Creator
Life and death is not a laughing matter****

    As the key is sincerity
    With much difficulty
For the believer to maintain his sanity
That in life is a rarity

    Let us pray
    Before we turn grey
To face death as a martyr
    Thus avoiding the fire

*Al-Quran (18: 106-107) “That is their reward, Hell; because they rejected Faith, and took My Signs and My Messengers by way of jest. As to those who believe and work righteous deeds, they have, for their entertainment, the Gardens of Paradise"

**Al-Quran (75:22-23): “Some faces that Day, will beam (in brightness and beauty). Looking towards their Lord”

***The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The worst thief among men is the one
who steals from his prayer." When his companions asked, "O Messenger of
Allah, how does he steal from his prayer?", he replied, "He does not
complete its Ruku' (bowing) and Sujood (prostration) ." *(Ahmad and Al-Hakim)

****Al-Quran (67:2): “He, Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed”

    A Mothers Words

Loving you was the least I could do to soothe your gentle heart
To watch you grow, to train you well
    To teach you al-Islaam

Brave my boy is, growing up so strong with a weapon in his hand
Hoping one day, he might help free our promised land

But a mothers heart is one that you should handle with care
For just a tiny crack, can bring grief and dispair

Even though my son is promised peace and serenity
There will always be that part, missing inside of me

For I did love my son, I loved him quite well
But my heart is at ease, knowing he will not enter the gates of hell

For Allah has promised peace and provision
For all of those who have made that desicion

To sacrifice their life, for His Sake
And that is the reason why, my heart shall never break
Never more could I ask to be
