he was pashtun as was his wife.... however a lot of ppl do claim 2 be pashtun much like they claim 2 be decendents of the prophet etc.... why ppl cant be themselves and proud of it is beyond me

pashtun and pukhtun are the same thing.... Pukhtun is the northern dielct and pashtun is the southern dilect...
all pashtuns/pukhtuns are ethnic afghans... now the term afghan has taken on a nationality based meaning... baloch is a different ethnic grp
